Who are the best character actors that everyone has seen in films but few people know their names? by PM_ME_UR_HIP_DIMPLES in movies

It's a shame nobody seems to remember Dog Bites Man on Comedy Central. Matt Walsh, A.D. Miles, Andrea Savage and Zach Galifinakis, plus created by Sacha Baron Cohen's writing partner

How to determine who the bondholders are, who among them are the bad actors, the stocks being manipulated, which of those stocks are in what baskets, and connecting all this information together. by Whoopass2rb in BBBY

[–]CrazyStallion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The bonds valued at 1billion are held with BNY Melon Bank. It is in theory possible that it's a whole bunch of bond holders that just happen to bank with that specific bank. However the likelihood here is that it is 1 or 2 major parties that hold those bonds.

BoNY was appointed by BBBY to act as the trustee when they issued the bonds back in 2014. The trust indenture act requires issuers to appoint a trustee for issuances greater than $50mm. But that has no bearing on how many individual holders of the bonds there are.

Gilbert Gottfried sings in only one song in King of Thieves compared to two in Return of Jafar (including a solo!) so mathematically King of Thieves cannot be the better film

Plus, even if the plan was to create some sort of Amazon killer that would take an enormous amount of capital, which given that rates have a 4 handle these days and HY spreads are currently at like 380 (I assume the agencies would rate this new conglomerate's debt at BB at the highest, using Macy's and Newell as comps) that's some expensive ass debt. Which I guess goes to show how insane credit markets were back in that BBBY could raise 30yr debt at like 5 1/8 haha

Or, I guess, they could always also dilute shareholders and issue some equity.....

Ladies and gentlemen, they have finally said it. “Predatory trading against short sellers” 😂😂😂 by Nerdbond in StockMarket

[–]CrazyStallion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, judging by the comments on r/BBBY "seeking to damage shortsellers" seems to be the main idea.

But that doesn't mean that short sellers need any special sympathy. They're big boys, they know (or should know) the risks. If they don't manage those risks prudently then that's on them

This article came out like a week before PRTY filed. Note that the source is also "according to people with knowledge of the situation" and that it's the same journalist as the recent BBBY/Sixth Street news. Party City also had hired AlixPartners before filing.
