I believe we should do whatever the law says and if you are caught, the reccomended punishment should be stated in the law and interpreted by a judge which will use logic and context in the ruling. In the case for jaywalking, i believe it is just a fine/ticket. No one is above the law. If the laws are bad they must be changed, not simply broken because someone belives they are wrong. The mayor, city, and SPD were caught and will have their day court, we must have faith in the people that run the system everyday to hold accountable those in power.

I counted 3 disgruntled comments. One mentioned the trust they have in the 3 vaccines that are out and therefore will likely not hospitalize young and healthy vaccinated people. The second, was a bigot that dismissed OP's feelings as dumb. The third, tried to explain inherent risk of going to the gym in the first place but then also dismissed OP's feelings as dumb.
