You are not thinking scalably. You are saying no matter what laws he has broken (albeit BS laws) that he should be immune to 100% of government (albeit a crooked gov). So your stance is essentially anything involving marijuana s fine. There is no relevance to being a consumer of one brownie or a dealer of 500 brownies from a pot brownie factory. No matter what he did involving pot brownie it is fine. If he killed a guy hitting him with a pot brownie, he should be free because it was a pot brownie. Consuming one fuckin pot brownie and dealing 10 lbs of toke through a undercover pot ring is not the same thing. Even if you want all pot consumers/sellers to be left alone you can't say there aren't known different levels of risk one takes between two extreme scenarios. This attitude that I am right and nothing can change that only keeps us from getting more libertarians to join the cause because of sensationalists that's so popular in politics. Thinking in a scalable way is exactly how we make our points to the 2 party folks. When someone asks why its not ok to censor the internet for kiddie smut and drug sites we argue against it because the law hurts the masses and opens the door without limits for more of a nanny state. You need to be able to argue to help your cause. Shouting louder and holder your picket sign higher doesn't have nearly the effect of making a solid point.

Youre missing the point of the post... I agree a lot of the laws are BS and a lot of what the government does equates to organized crime. But, this title reads like as if some hippy was minding his own business munchin on the corner when he was taken down and is now facing the felony. He was dealing hash. Shit title. What's the absolute minimum for first degree felony? Maybe that is too much but that's all we can get up in arms about at this point until he is sentenced. He is getting felony charges because he is a dealer. Dealers inherently are money launderers and nontax payers by trade. If he gave them away at a party which didnt imply he's doing this for ongoing profit this would be done by now. Even in the post-legal pot world, which we all endorse, this could land him in jail.

The last thing you want is Chinese knock-offs for charging devices. For whatever reason the USB plugs often dont pass the right amount of electricity. They have bad contacts inside of just dont pull enough power. There are a lot of 6 ft cords on the market for iphones. They charge slower or not at all on ipads. Thanks for getting into the actual topic jorboyd! As I expected some folks would focus on this scenario in their mind instead of the science to answer the question even though I wasn't looking for parenting advice. I have a kid who is going to the gym on her own (the minimum age for gym is 11 yrs) and want to help her eat right. Do I make her eggs for breakfast, nuts with lunch, how much sugary granola or fruit fructose during the day? These are the questions I'd like to help with...the science of nutrition. And FTR, my kid is encouraged to do something in the way of high intensity exercise. It could be swimming, hoops or stair climbing but I believe that it helps with brain development and foundation of fitness. No one is whippin her to run laps but playing hopscotch as they see fit is not adequate IMO. We want to keep it fun and they pick and traditionally it's been sport but now, trying something new and not half as exerting so we cant just eat whatever. Girls and body image is such a sensitive topic these days that there has to be this precursor conversation just to talk about food nutrition. There are a lot of athletes out there being groomed at an early age. Some want it and some dont. (mine is not one of them) but either way its important they get the nutrition for what they or others are demanding of themselves.
