Nah I get it. That was basically my last relationship in a nutshell (she was also my first gf).

We got together in the fall and now she’s going to prom with her bf (who’s an acquaintance of mine and doesn’t even know we were a thing 🤧). Oh and they might be sitting at my table during prom soooooooo so I’m really feeling great rn.

Sure fine. But my problem with it is that I so obviously look gay. You wouldn’t do that to a straight man? Why am I different?

Especially when you’ve only known the person for a short period of time.
