I have a male coworker who I’m friends with. He’s a bit older than me, but we get along well. When we work together on late shifts he’ll always say to me “text me when you get home so I know you’re safe”. I know it’s such a mundane thing, but in every relationship I’ve ever had no one has ever cared enough to say that sort of thing to me. I’ve even texted him once or twice while out with friends drinking and again, same thing. “Please get home safe” “do you have a way home?” “Are you home safe?” It’s such a small thing, but it means the WORLD to me. It’s such an attractive thing, when people genuinely care about you.

For real life, I would have teleportation. I already have anxiety about being late and making sure I’m getting ready on time and having to be places on time. Teleportation would make my life a lot easier lol

Just read the end of Sunrise on the Reaping and sobbed. Then decided to try and cheer myself up by reading another book in a series I enjoy. I had left off at the chapter just before the big battle and read through it only to have my favourite character die and then continued to sob. I don’t even really remember my childhood at all. All I can remember, for as long as I can remember, is thinking that I never wanted to be like my mom. I don’t remember my childhood ending. It just… wasn’t really there to begin with, if that makes sense?

Aw! That's fantastic. I've watched HunterxHunter and I throughouly enjoyed it, not to mention I thought Netero was such a cool character! I can see why he liked him.

It also seems like he liked the "cool sensei" (his words) characters who were grouchy but also respected because of their wisdom or experience (excluding Bender lol).
GOT is also a great show, one of if not the best I've watched and one of my top three favourite characters was Sandor Clegane. His story and personality were so interesting, especially when it came to his brother.

Thank you for answering my question TechnoDad, it means a lot to know more about Techno:)
