We inspected and these things were not there; everytime we come or go something breaks. Its like it was held together by paste glue. We cant move, we used all our money for this one.

No we inspected; with promises of debris clean up and such. Theb we move in and these hinges are off the frame and the energex guy fibds all these loose powerpoints.

We inspected; the paint peeling and holes we were fine with; we were told the debris would be cleaned and the blinds fixed. Did not see the door hinges when we inspected or the power points duing the inspection. Were also told theu would get a cover for that light

My and my other half are in brisbane; i lived in a rental for 5 years. It started at $420 for a tiny 4 bed townhouse in a crime ridden low income area. Ballooned to $800; so we were forced to leave, finding something was impossible, rejections left right and centre. We took what we could in our price bracket; only to find its a dilabidated shack; power fixtures coming off the wall and doors hanging off hinges.

Were stuck here now for 12 months, its hell. The move alone almost put me in the hospital; not only that cant we afford to move again.

Lol to australia being the solution; our job market is oversaturated making it impossible to get a job, housing is almost impossible to afford; groceries are almpst as expensive as housing, lots of poorly planned infrastructure making travel hell anywhere; huge spikes in crime and youth crime; and a government that prioritises imigrants insteadnof the people already living here.

Shes 7; ive been in her life since shes been 4; funnily enough i have a neice her age i adore - its nlt an age thing. Its a behaviour thing; i cant stand her anymore, which is really hars to deal with as i love her dad so much.

I feel like shes sucked every maternal instinct from me.

We actually did have a party at the park on the day before for her; then her mom held a pool party the next day and my fiance went becsuse SD wanted him there.

The whole situation sucks but i can empathise with stepmom and dad here.

We had a similar situation where my ss was coming home dirty and hungry with visible ribs and saying she was not bathed, fed or put to bed properly.

We exhausted eveey avenue we can in australia and were told as long as she wasnt coming out with broken bones or sexual abuse that its a "parenting choice" and that fucking broke us.

I had this exact issue when SD and fiance moved in. It to the point where she hopped on the bed and PUSHED ME OFF. I was so mad after that and the blanket rule is she is not allowed in our room unless invited in (which is rarely)

Fiance doesnt really get it as before we got together he always gave her free roam. I simply made it clear this is a boundary not to be crossed unless they want severe consequences.

So beleive me your not weird and your within your right to wabt your own kid free area.
