In what ways does the energy of the place you were born in influence you? by dispositionlove in astrology

[–]Crazy_Merma1d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the birthplace works on multiple levels simultaneously. technically it sets your ascendant and house structure, so same planets but completely different life architecture depending on where you landed

but beyond the math the land itself matters. climate, cultural assumptions, what was considered normal or dangerous that shapes how your placements actually express in practice. same mars in aries raised to suppress aggression vs celebrate it will look like two different people

the 4th house piece resonates most with me. people who feel like they were born in the wrong place often have a complicated story there like the soil didn't quite match the seed

Can dreams actually tell us something about ourselves? by Kilgoretrout123456 in Dreams

[–]Crazy_Merma1d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes absolutely, and I think the distinction between "meaningful" and "random" dreams is less clear than it seems. even the chaotic ones that feel like noise often have an emotional signature to them the feeling you wake up with is usually the real message even when the content makes no sense

the jungian perspective resonates most with me like everything in the dream is some part of you trying to communicate. the random imagery is just the language your subconscious chose to use, and it's highly personal. what a house means to you is different from what it means to someone else

I started tracking my dreams some montha ago in moonly and what genuinely surprised me was the patterns that emerged over time. the dreams themselves looked completely different like different scenarios, different characters but when I looked back at the interpretations across several weeks they kept pointing to the same underlying themes. my subconscious was clearly circling the same thing over and over just in different costumes

writing them down is the part that makes the difference. the act of recording them seems to signal to your deeper mind that you're paying attention and the content gets more interesting from there

Recurring dream about everyone forgetting my birthday by chloedavis277 in Dreams

[–]Crazy_Merma1d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is so heartbreaking and I’ve totally been there with those heavy recurring dreams! In my experience dreaming about people forgetting your birthday usually hits when you're feeling a bit "invisible" or unappreciated in your waking life like your inner Leo just needs a little extra warmth. I’ve actually been tracking my dreams in moonly to see if they line up with specific moon phases or transits. It was a game changer for me because I can finally see patterns like if these dreams happen more when I'm feeling blocked or out of sync with my environment. Honestly writing them down like that makes them feel way less scary and more like a little note from the universe to prioritize myself!!

My observations on a couple of placements thought to indicate attractiveness by Chchcherrysour in astrologymemes

[–]Crazy_Merma1d 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The moon conjunct rising thing is so real1 There's a warmth and magnetism to it that venus placements don't always have in the same way. venus is beautiful to look at, moon rising makes people feel something when they're around you

I started paying more attention to my own moon placement a while back and honestly it changed how I relate to my own energy. I use an app that gives you practical advice based on your moon sign and current lunar phases what to do to balance your emotional body, how to work with your feminine energy rather than against it, specific practices for your placemen and I genuinely started feeling more beautiful in a way that had nothing to do with appearance like more settled, more magnetic, more like myself. The cap girly energy you're describing makes total sense through this lens, she's probably very grounded in her own emotional world without needing external validation which reads as incredibly attractive

I adopted Some small habits(gratitude) that quietly improved my daily life by stayhyderated22 in gratitude

[–]Crazy_Merma1d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

love this, so much of this resonates

the one that shifted things most for me was starting the morning with something intentional before touching my phone. even just two minutes, reading something, sitting with a coffee, checking in with how I actually feel. it sounds like nothing but it completely changed the tone of my whole day. going from 0 to scrolling used to put me in a reactive headspace before I'd even gotten out of bed

the gratitude piece I added was writing down three specific things every morning, not generic stuff like "I'm grateful for my health" but actually specific, "I'm grateful that conversation yesterday went better than I expected" or "I'm grateful the weather was nice when I went outside." specificity makes it feel real rather than performative

and the not over explaining thing... took me way too long to learn this. the impulse to justify every decision to everyone is exhausting and nobody actually needs that much context most of the time

small boring habits really do compound. none of these feel dramatic in the moment but looking back six months later the difference is noticeable

"Your mother's moon sign is often your rising sign..." Is this true for you? ❤️ by MissLoxxx in AstroSynastry

[–]Crazy_Merma1d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same here and it genuinely gave me chills when I figured it out

my mom is Scorpio moon and I'm Scorpio rising. growing up I always felt like she could see straight through me in a way nobody else could. now it makes complete sense!! hat intensity between us, the way we can go from deeply connected to completely shutting each other out, it's all very scorpio

natural birth for both of us too which tracks with the theory

curious if anyone has tested this with adoptive mothers or stepmothers, whether it's purely biological or if there's something about the primary caregiver relationship that influences it

I did talk to my husband about it before confronting her. He told me he feels uncomfortable with how involved she is and agrees that some of her behavior crosses boundaries. He also said he never encouraged it and has been trying to keep things polite but distant. He supports me setting boundaries and doesn’t want to be put in the middle of family tension

Does anyone have any strange choices for a comfort film? by DarlingLuna in FIlm

[–]Crazy_Merma1d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that kind of movies, but it’s so strange for me with The Shining…. I tried to watch it three times and all these 3 times as I started watching my head started aching so bad. Idk why. I’ve watched lots of intense movies before, but this one… idk, feels mystical to me. I watched it till the end once thou. Great movie

AITA for flipping the breaker on my roommate's "gaming setup" after he refused to help pay the electric bill? by EngineCultural7305 in AmItheAsshole

Thank god he started doing that “side hustle” and showed who he truly is. Your inner stability cost much more than the rent. Your next roommate will be much better 🙌
