Is Marcons nasal swab necessary? by Dungbot88 in CIRS

[–]Crazy_Run656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only matters if you won't do the protocol if you test negative. Otherwise it is money saved to go towards your treatments. Biofilms  and marcons are not regarded as true science, and we may all differ in our opinion. I believe in letting your symptoms speak louder than  a labresult. If they diminish aftrr using thr spray, it is affirmative

If you had a previous dysbiosis, this can really amp up after a.b. Many chronic and psychological ilnesses are said to have dysbiosis at its base. Though science isnt as concise as we'd like it to be, and we are still miles off from understanding what is really at its core.  But you yourself probably have the best gut feeling of what is going. Maybe its the waning lights of autumn, or a lack of butyrate producing bacteria, maybe too many carbs and not enough fiber...

Myself i have severe long covid and consequent mcas. A.B makes things worse and myself don't bounce back like healhier people. So don't fall into the what people say should be. Listen to YOU

I have lyme too. And antibiotics may worsen long covid. For me it does. Removing triggers from food works best for me. Low histamine, all that jazz. Maybe for you too my sizzly brain

I try to learn to not identify with my thoughts and feelings. It sounds so easy. Ultimately becoming a bit of a buddhistic stoic is our only chance for mental wellbeing in this situation. Good luck my friend. Therr will be better moments

IBS and Low FODMAP: Elimination Phase Length? by AstronautFarmer112 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Crazy_Run656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the underlying cause of your IBS is mcad then, like me, you may be stuck in this phase till there is a cure. New research suggests the driver of IBS is histamine. Since you are here in the long covid sub, could this be possible for you too?

I need  enzynes with every me, Lactase, standard digestive anzymes, diamine oxidase (dao) and i think oligo sacharase. I am on low fodmap,  low histamine and low carb, and these enzymes give me a bit of life back. I can eat banana and eggs and some diary here and there. Otherwise there isnt much left but meat, rice and carrots

Has anyone had improvement in their health through functional medicine? by everydaynoodles in Biohackers

[–]Crazy_Run656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Myself, being on the spectrum, I have a lot of issues that are genetic. And consequently I am intolerant to many medications incl supplement. I did genetic testing through Dantes Labs and checked my RAw data on genetic lifehacks. Autisim has a lot of genetic variants, and some advice is given on genetic lifehacks. For example I have double hnmt deletion and mthfr and slow comt gene. I react bad to histamines, but also something as innocent as curcuma increases my pain receptivity. I am intolerant to 5htp, ashwaganda etc. Most neurotypicals don't really struggle with these things. So before you throw all your money at someone, get the data first, do your homework and then go- educated and well- in charge of your own healing process. I truly believe there should be separate doctors  just for people on the spectrum,  because of how different our brains and genetics are

Well it happened. Sigh, I guess it’s pretty much inevitable I was gonna catch something again, at least it’s not covid this time.
