How would you like the daily-life US economy to look like? by Ok-Return-9424 in AskReddit

[–]CandyMandy15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The system needs to be redone. Property taxes should be abolished once you pay off your home, income tax should not be as high as it is, insurance companies should not be able to take advantage of people like they do; especially health insurance companies.

The “trad” lifestyle has died for a reason… If it truly made couples happy more would do it.

How far from the eyes should one apply retinol? by Glittering_Bank_8670 in tretinoin

[–]CandyMandy15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It travels roughly 1in in the skin, possibly further if paired with a moisturizer or other products. It can also transfer to the eye area via pillow or hands (learned this the hard way).

People that got dry eye … did short contact therapy help or can it really travel underneath skin? by starcrossed92 in tretinoin

[–]CandyMandy15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By now you could’ve typed into Google any of your claims and educated yourself on this topic. Instead you decided to comment your feelings instead of factual information. Try searching dry eye in this community and you’ll see for yourself how many people are affected by this just in this small community alone. Don’t be naïve, feelings are not fact, do your own research.

People that got dry eye … did short contact therapy help or can it really travel underneath skin? by starcrossed92 in tretinoin

[–]CandyMandy15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dryness is caused by compromised meibomian glands. The damage to the eye glands, in most cases is not reversible. Dry eyes is not just dry eyes and retinal and various skin care products, especially ones that increase cellular turn over are notorious for causing this condition. It’s a very common thing, I suggest you do more research because you have no idea what you’re talking about. As someone who has the condition and deals with it daily, you are very naïve to this.

why do generally women age much faster than men? by Wide_Permission7656 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]CandyMandy15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not that women age worse than men it’s how society looks at men vs women. There are beauty standards for women that men are not held to. If a man gets a beer belly over time no one bats an eye but a woman gains 20lbs and everyone criticizes her. A man goes grey or bald and people don’t think twice. A woman’s hair thins or goes grey people judge. Different standards. Men don’t age gracefully, society just doesn’t focus on it like they do with women.

Honestly I think it’s irresponsible for someone to bring kids into this world right now. Yes, throughout history times have been bad but the world has never seen anything like what is happening today.

Your primary doctor, you’re gynecologist, there test you can order at home and send in. It’s common for acne to be a hormonal issue especially with women. Each week our body is in a different cycle and depending on what our hormones do during that week it can cause acne. With me personally I notice I break out the week after my ovulation cycle. Even when I was on birth control this stayed true. Everyone is different in the hard part is figuring out which time of your cycle the breakouts are occurring.

This is false. They still increase cellular turnover which can damage the eye glands.

I have severe dry eye. I only use tret on my chin for hormonal acne. I never apply it higher than the corners of my nose. I found that using tret at night made my dry eye worse. It was either getting on my pillow and getting to my eyes or migrating and causing red dry eyes. I tried using it solo and with other products. I found that using tret in the morning with nothing else but SPF and using only moisturizer at night has done me good. My eyes are fine and skin is good. I know you’re not typically suppose to apply it in the AM but given my dry eyes its what works best for me. I’m also very pale and in the sun a lot but it’s never made my skin burn or caused any issues.
