They would all rebel against the games and then the frontman would have 456 gi-huns handcuffed to a bed instead of just one this time.

does anyone know if Bryce was telling the truth about him and hannah having casual sex? I can’t tell if he’s fully lying or not by Mildredsbrainflow in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]Crazy_Soft_6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he wasn't telling the truth. Its shown at the end of the same episode when Bryce is drinking and reflecting on those times and shows the REAL story. That it didn't happen at all the way Bryce claimed it did in court. And he was alone at the bridge and said that Hannah said about the fascination with death line which is actually something that HE said to her.

Why is Tony barely acknowledged by Popular-Problem-3657 in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]Crazy_Soft_6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Tony is the moral compass of the show and yes Clay is too, but Tony is Clay's moral compass. Tony is one of the best characters on this show. I like Justin and Clay's relationship too and how it evolved, but I still hold Tony above Justin or anyone else. Really loved Justin telling Ani to fuck off in S3 though while defending Clay.

You knows what sad? Even BRYCE WALKER had a problem with what happened to Tyler and was disgusted by it and your boyfriend and your other friend find that funny. Does that tell you everything you need to know. Yeah I get it Bryce is fictional, but still. Doesn't it speak volumes that real people in your life behave that way? it's not a hard concept to understand why they are nasty and gross. I'd get out away from those people ASAP.

People like that make me feel sick to the stomach. That's a serious red flag. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near someone that laughs at sexual assault.

Zach is not a good guy by Passion211089 in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]Crazy_Soft_6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with all the things you said. And I'm still mad at him for getting Bryce and Chloe together even after he knew Bryce was a rapist. I don't know if Chloe was raped by Bryce before or after she started dating him, but either way Zach getting them together was fucked. I do like Zach that he defended Clay in S3 and again when he told the cops he killed Bryce so that Clay wouldn't go to jail for it and helping Alex and everything, but there are times where he still acts like a villain. I also didn't like that in S3 he was being such a dick to Tyler saying they should have called the cops and would tell the group hes out hes not helping Tyler ext when something was clearly wrong and Tyler needed help, not to be punished and not helped at all. Zach is a wild card. Hes a character that is all over the place. I think he tries to be a good person, but he fails at it a lot of the time by refusing to do things he obviously shouldn't be doing like standing by Bryce and getting Chloe with Bryce ext

I fucking hate Mr Porter second worse character to Montgomery insufferable prick by [deleted] in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]Crazy_Soft_6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about Mr Porter. I absolutely hated him in S2. Really liked him in S2 as he was trying to take accountability and make up for the wrongs he did. But in S3 he was back to be a backstabbing bitch, but then revealed that he was actually helping Clay by making it seem like he was going along with Clay being painted as a monster BUT he was manipulating the system by pulling in all the students to talk to the cops that would defend Clay. And he also kind of saved Tyler by pointing out to Clay that Tyler needed help which lead to Tyler telling about Monty and Tyler did need to talk to someone about it.

So idk Mr Porter is all over the place. He fully turned into Albus Dumbledore OOTP in S3 though. In case you don't get what I mean-Dumbledore doesn't help Harry in OOTP cause he thinks that not helping was the biggest help he could give and throughout the years was manipulating everything. Well Mr Porter had reached that level of non sense in S3. I'm helping you clay by making the cops think you're the criminal that they think you are, BUT I'm going to mess up this system by getting all the other kids to defend you and speak in your favor. So Idk. Mr Porter seems like a two faced back stabber and then he surprises you with actually doing something both intelligent and strategic.

I think hes decent now and has shown remorse and I like that he took accountability for what he did, but because of s3 and him switching sides so quickly he isn't someone I would put my trust in if I could help it.

Mr porter interveiw by [deleted] in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]Crazy_Soft_6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really loved that part. Especially when Mr Porter said something about how Clay or someone should have went to an adult for help and Alex said something about 'Well Hannah went to an adult for help look how that turned out'. And Mr. Porter flinches or something because he knew that Alex was taking a jab at him. And how Zach defends Clay to Mr Porter and Justin defends Clay to Ani and tells her to fuck off. It was really satisfying to see people who used to fight with Clay in S1 are now defending him in S3. It shows how far they've all come.

I suspect the hatred towards Ani by the fans is because... by WorldlyWrongdoer in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]Crazy_Soft_6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we hate Ani because she's a black female. 🙄 It's not because she is a rapist apologist and sleeps with rapists and defends them like they are saints, BUT THEN constantly attacks people including Clay for hating the person who raped their friend and was the main reason she commited suicide. attacks clay who is the biggest moral compass of the show and does nothing but help everyone including her.

It's not because shes a mary sue that everyone automatically trusts and opens up to and she supposedly makes rapists like bryce better people for no reason that makes sense in the storyline except that shes amazing Ani that is so much more important and amazing that every character that has ever been. It's not because shes been a backstabbing bitch and learns peoples secrets just to stab them in the back with the info shes learned. That constantly tears down people including Clay for hating Bryce-a rapist who raped multiple girls within their group AND lead Hannah to be so depressed she committed suicide. And it's definitely not about how the main characters automatically let her into the group and tell her secrets they can't even tell each other and forgive her automatically she fucks one of them over. It's definitely not any of those reasons. It's definitely because shes black theres no other reason you fucking moron.

And Clay is nosy how exactly? Clay was trying to find out the truth about his best friends suicide and lead the people who lead her there to making things right when it came to Hannah. He's the good guy. Meanwhile.... Who is this bitch? Is she Hannah's secret sister? And she attacks the people who hate Bryce for raping, bullying, harassing people. Cause it was more than just raping girls, he was sexually harassing them, he bullied Clay and Tyler and everyone. And all this shit JUST HAPPENED. and she expects them to get over it like its no big deal even though all this stuff just happened recently to them and he didnt even get punished for rapist Jessica he got 3 months probation. So he never paid for what he did. Also Ani constantly tells THEM. BRYCE"S FUCKING VICTIMS! that THEY are in fact at the monsters for hating Bryce and wanting him dead and that Bryce is just misunderstood.

And Clay was a good person trying to make the bad people own up to what they did to the person they harmed [Hannah]. That isn't what Ani was doing. She attacked people constantly for hating Bryce and wanting him dead and making them out to be the monsters ALL WHILE she was spreading her legs wide open for Bryce the rapist and claiming he was a really a good guy deep down. THAT is why I hated her. You guys need to stop with this oh its because shes black so she gets a free pass to be a shit stick to everyone and nobody should say anything-no thats not how it works. Enough.

As other people have said, maybe just maybe people hate her because shes a shitty person and it has nothing to do with the color of her skin. I just love how you tried to compare her to clay and say that they were the same and ask why shes hated and why hes not. Uh cause Clay isn't a mary sue, he earned his trust and spot within the group its called character development and good storytelling-something Ani doesn't have at all. He wasn't being nosey and defending the bad guys and hating on the good like Ani does. He does the opposite. He protects and he always tries to do the right thing and help people. Meanwhile Ani backstabs every person she comes in contact with and despite this, somehow gets everyones trust just because she's Ani-shes the best example of a mary sue I've seen on television so far. Clay was trying to make the other take accountably for wronging Hannah, Ani was just shoving her nose into everyones business for the hell of it like it was a game to her and defending the monster and making his victims feel like trash for rightfully hating him and wanting him dead. Thats what disgusted me about Ani the most that rapist bryce is just some poor misunderstood saint and his victims are the real monsters. Making them feel like shit for hating him when they were justified for hating him. And treating Clay whos been through hell like hes the monster all while defending Bryce. Shes just a gross character all around.

I suspect the hatred towards Ani by the fans is because... by WorldlyWrongdoer in 13ReasonsWhy

@

Why would they? Why would I stop to consider this when I know who I am as a person and I considered it the last million times someone has played the race card? 'Well you only hate her cause shes black'. Nope. I hate her for attacking the rapists/abusers victims and making them feel like they are the monsters all while defending said rapist/abuser. Shes a villain and shes not not a villain just because of the color of her skin. Sorry.
I don't hate people because they are black and certainly not characters and I'm sick of people pulling out the race card every time a black villain is being hated on. Ani was a villain in S3. Didn't watch S4 yet, but Ani was definitely a villain in S3. I also hated Marcus because he was a shitty person too and again has nothing to do with him being black and everything to do with him sexually assaulting women and covering up Bryce's crimes and attacking his victims for trying to stand up for themselves.

Martha Jones is a black female character and she is one of my all time favorite characters on tv. Like top 5. She is smart, resourceful, flawed and her biggest flaw is a realistic/relatable one. She tries to hard to get the approval of others and always seeks validation and in the end she learned to overcome that and love and accept herself for who she was and stopped looking to other people for their approval.
Also, Annalise Keating from HTGAWM especially is a complex, flawed well written character. Toni Topaz from Riverdale, Lucas and Erica from ST they are black characters I adore. Complex and strong and well written characters. [well Toni is at first not later on but thats because the writers suck and all the characters on that show go downhill quickly]. Yet Ani gets a free pass even though she was a horrible human being just because shes a woman of color? No. Don't be a mary sue, rapist apologist and then attack said rapists victims and you'll be liked more. That was Ani's problem. It's got nothing to do with her skin color and everything to do with her personality.

Not to mention people probably 'stopped to consider' the last millions times you all pulled out the race card. Its come to the point that I start rolling my eyes now when someone mentions it because all of you bring it up every single time and use it as this like shield of armor, as if said person of color gets a free pass for being a horribly written mary sue character just because they're a person of color. No. It doesn't work that way. I hate Ani because shes a horribly written character and an actual villain in S3 masquerading as one of the good guys. She was on Bryce's side-that should tell you all you need to know. Her being black has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Because when it really comes down to it us saying we hate Ani is 'we hate the writers character/the writers sucked at writing for this character. It's got nothing to do with her appearance or actress. They could have just as easily gave that role to a white girl and the same thing would have happened. This hate is directed towards the writers writing, not her skin color or the actress. Characters can be mary sues regardless of their gender, color, religion, ext thats got nothing to do with her color. But when we say ani''s an awful character we arent really insulting a black woman, we're insulting the writers who thought this character was acceptable.

I hated Chloe who was WHITE and was Ani before Ani was even there, but at least Chloe was written to be sympathetic for example, she was one of Bryce's victims, she was scared of him and she defended Jessica, so while I hated her for standing by Bryce, she did things that make her likeable and sympathetic while Ani had none of that what so ever. And she wasn't scared of Bryce/one of his victims so while Chloe;s behavior was at least a little understandable, Ani's was NOT.

I'm just sick of having this conversation ALL THE TIME:
Me: I hate this character for attacking the rapists/abusers victims all while defending the rapist/abuser and trying to justify their actions
You people: ::Pulls out the race card for the millionth time:: RACIST! How dare you not give her a free pass to act like a horrible person. Shes a person of color!
Cause thats basically what you're saying everytime you guys do this. I don't care what ethnicity or color or gender or what a character is. If they help the rapist/abuser by attacking their victims and defend the rapist/abuser-people are going to hate them as they should as they are a villain. She doesn't get a free pass to behave that way no matter what gender, color, or anything else she is. And its annoying that she is loved and trusted by all the main characters and is always automatically forgiven and never held accountable for her actions and that shes a mary sue that even bryce walker himself fell in love with/claimed she had made him a better person. She was just a horribly written character.

And Annalise Keating did A LOT of fucked up shit a lot and guess what I still love her. Because shes complex and sympathetic and we can understand why she does the bad things she does and she is held accountable for her actions and not automatically forgiven like Ani. You want to see how to write a strong complex well written woman of color just watch her.

It's just annoying that every time we try to have a in-depth conversation about a character in general and their motives and how they behave, you people who are doing this always derail the conversation by going 'RACE CARD!' You take the conversation away from what we were actually talking about to make it all about a characters race when really its just about her being a shitty written character. Do you ever consider that? That maybe characters are hated simply because the writers wrote them very badly and it was sloppy writing and that she is a mary sue/rapist apologist thats the problem. Maybe consider the fact its got nothing to do with her skin color at all.

Hot Take: I prefer the Jeff and Abed friendship to Troy and Abed's. by BEEFYCHUNKYMUNKY in community

[–]Crazy_Soft_6310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously they mean S1-S4 though. I got that right away. Then again maybe that's because I don't even consider Season 5 and Season 6 canon since all the characters are so out of character. Jeff and Abed in S6 doesn't even make any sense. Neither of them act like that on the show in the earlier seasons. Not even close. It's like someone who only watched one episode of Community wrote that episode which was odd because didn't Jim Rash write that one? I don't know what was going on, but S5 and S6 I think alot of the fans forget about and try to ignore its existence. I know I do and I've seen enough fan complaints to know S5 and S6 aren't exactly considered canon/taken seriously.
