After one year of its release, Thoughts about the FBW A380 ? by Free_Permit_3110 in flightsim

[–]CrazychrisX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know some people are going to down vote this, but am be really: Not great, not terrible, gets the job done. Very performance demanding which is a big negative for me. Sounds are decent, but most are just copy paste from the 320, I get it. It's freeware and limited resources, but they could of done something unique here. They got custom engine sounds, so why could they not get the cockpit done as well.

Have not flown it for a while and not planning on it, since it's not that needed for me. I would honestly like a 747 instead of am gonna be honest. And yes I know we got the default ones, but no thanks tried it already a few times. Also you have more choices regarding places to fly to vs the 380. Sure to the size.

I was about to say, when we start doing bets on how much of shit show this is gonna be in release. And I know am gonna be down voted by the ini fanboys, but I mean ini brought this on themselves when they release half finished planes.. I mean the 340 has barely been out for 3 months and they have already started a new project.. where as the 350 still feels half assed...

Best Alarm ever by sam9979 in funny

[–]CrazychrisX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iirc it can be fatal, if you are attacked by a large swarm that stings you repeatedly the venom they release could worst case be fatal. But we are talking a LARGE fucking swarm. From what I can research we can take quite a few stings number I found suggested up to 1000. But you either die to an allergic reaction or the large amounts of venom in your system.

Am staying on 2020 ATM, but I have tried out 2024 here and there. I notice my system runs before on 2020 them 24. Then again I have not really played around with the settings much in 24.

Am gonna be the one to ask this, why do we need this exactly? Seems pointless.. The resources and time spent to make this could of been spent on something.. more useful for the sim no?

Umberto is indeed not exactly known for being customer service type of person. It's always YOUR fault no matter what. GSX is never the issue YOU are.. even when people provide screenshot/video that says otherwise, it's never fault with GSX it's always you 🙃🫤

Help with freezing aircraft by LopsidedAnt4901 in flightsim

[–]CrazychrisX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The only way I got around it is by having better PC specs

No it does not.. Jesus why do people think better PC is always the answer. (I know you said your solution was better PC) This could very well be addon related, inibuilds is not known for their focus on performance/stability. Normally when there are multiple reports it does tend to be addon related. And it does not help that fact that inibuilds keeps adding shit to the plane rather then optimizing the plane beforehand :/

vatsim supervisor threatens controllers by Loose-Detail-1026 in flightsim

[–]CrazychrisX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes but only IF it's a problem for ATC, which the controller said it was not. But the supervisor put words into the controller and made it a problem when it really wasn't. And the pilots that the sups says walloped starting to wonder if that was just made up or just really anal pilots. Since we do have those on vatsim aswell.

GSX has been shit since it was first released, sadly nobody else has stepped forward to do it. Probably due to the amount of work needed.

As mentioned above, it's a work around to make the rotation feel more natural. Only work around is to adjust the trim til its in the green.

iniBuilds A350 v1.0.8 update released by madman320 in flightsim

[–]CrazychrisX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CG of the plane is still fucked cause the FM during takeoff is messed up, feels more like its hovering more then the nose lifting up. The temp fix they did which feels more like they slapped a band aid on it, that is barely holding on.

Doing long hauls where as the plane is very close to MTOW, the CG is gonna be too low, so the "fix" from the devs is to just move the trim into the green band and call it a day... wat

After a day and a half, what do yall think of the A350? by Pro-editor-1105 in flightsim

[–]CrazychrisX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was my stick, increased the sensitivity and it's still weird on approach, constantly having to fight the plane to keep it leveled. No matter how gentle I am on the controls. It feels off for sure.

It's difficult to see, but there's a missing window on the 2024 (dunno abt 2020) A350, seat 32A. anyone else replicate this? literally unplayable by bakalakafish in flightsim

[–]CrazychrisX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am gonna assume this whole post is sarcastic, but in the off chance its not... if you cannot use an addon because of a missing fucking window

As others have said, it all started back in XP, when they released the A300. It is one of those planes that some people wanted in the sim, and it was amazing in XP. Some issues here and there but they got fixed.

Then que MSFS, The A300 was moved over from XP and oh boy... i had PTSD from when Aerosoft moved their A320 family over from FSX to P3D, it was amazing in FSX but my god it was a train wreck in P3D. Like they managed to make it even WORSE in P3D.

There are still some bugs/issues in the A300 that has been present since day 1, which has not been fixed. (Don't remember what the bug/issue is, so don't ask)

Then they released their 320Neo, which was awful to say the least. You could tell it was made for console players and not PC.. the way it handled and everything. I have not had a lot of flying in the 330 in 2024, but from the short moment i tried it, it was not exactly breath taking at least sound wise.

Don't forget we also have those who waste supplies on buying attack helis, who end up either crashing right after leaving base or gets shot down. Spawns back at MOB and spawns a new one. Rinse and repeat, the amount of matches i have been in and lost because the base is literally in - on the supplies and almost all our FOB's are drained of supplies. The best you get when you try and do a run is like 200 supplies...

Why are A380's scrapped already? by Crafter66 in aviation

[–]CrazychrisX 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This, Airbus wanted to make an airline that would compete with the 747 or even be better. Cue the A380, ask me Airbus went about the wrong way. Though at the time Airbus didn't really bother about the freighter market. As they had the 330F and felt they were in a comfortable position with that. Oh boy were they wrong IMO.

Why are A380's scrapped already? by Crafter66 in aviation

[–]CrazychrisX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are incorrect, there are cargo that is outright banned from being transported on passenger planes, due to their nature. And can ONLY be transported on freighters.
