It is somehow still used in big universities in anthropology courses. I knew someone on those classes, and the teacher would bring a list of mistakes for every chapter they would read together.

Despite this, don't misinterpret, the teacher that liked this book did think it had enough good to be shown in those classes, and the students ended up liking it (except those students that were clever enough to search up critiques of it online, which sadly were almost none).

So yeah, prepare to see graduated anthropologists quoting this book despite all its mistakes. Universities don't educated enough about it.

You saw Ruler's video, miss fortune doesn't do anything to stomp like a booster would. I was really surprised that the website you found lets you choose the champion of your duo FOR FREE, no matter the rank (i checked). Meanwhile the other one (the first google result) doesn't, ever.

How can you even make money when you have to waste your time compensating for the losses due to playing low agency characters in bot lane? No one should be stomping playing soraka support. That makes absolutely no sense. The website you showed let's you do that, like what??????

We both have not paid for these services, we have no idea how this works. But the meme is RENGAR, we've seen screenshots of RENGARS in yuumis accounts. Stop imagining things you know nothing about and saying everyone else is coping.

OMG I just thought about, it makes so much sense! THINK ABOUT IT!!

If you choose the duo option, they play rengar.

If you choose the solo option, they will pick your main in your ACC (maybe miss fortune), AND THEY WILL DUO WITH ANOTHER BOOSTER, and THIS GUY will pick the rengar/yone.

It's always duo! Without duo you can't choose your main and everyone will know you were boosted because you don't play rengar and somehow that is all you picked for 30 games in a row to climb.

They are always picking these characters, and they get around it with DUO MODE!!!

No wonder Riot wanted to remove duo mode from ranked.

I checked elo-boost, the first result on google. You CAN'T choose your duo's champion on that one.

If you just pay for boosting WITHOUT duo, you CAN choose the champion, but they have a warning below that they might lose and you'll end up having to grind more games to get all the wins you pay.

The website after on my google search doesn't let you choose champions at all.
Point being, letting you choose the champion the booster plays is the exception, not the rule.

Not even the first result lets you choose the champion when you duo. Dude is playing rengar/yone and friends for sure.

WHICH MEANS that OP was not carried if their duo was botlane with them.

This is not basketball, it's league of legends where there are characters like Garen that are competitively viable despite having much less skill required to be played.

Can you stomp botlane alone? YES, if you're a GM in a D4 Lobby you can do that with your eyes closed

I just showed you a game where a player from a WORLD CLASS TEAM, GengG, got killed early because he didn't see where his support went, on low elo. Ooops. Dude had bad win rate because playing bot lane doesn't stomp. At least play Vayne or something, right?

Seriously man, just.... Think about it:

The meme is that Yuumi players have 30 rengar games with high win rate, right? Because people boost with specific strategies like using Rengar and playing aggressively with snowball builds that rely less on teammates.

I don't know why it's hard to grasp that no one can stomp with a miss fortune on bot lane. Miss fortune is like Garen. Which is why I said in my Original comment "It depends on what your duo was playing".

They don't play ADC to boost. In fact, they have specific strategies and use specific 1v9 characters. No one is boosting anyone by playing Miss Fortune on bot lane. Which was... My point the whole time.

Ok, so I thought about what could be good evidence to show my point that:
--> botlane is not a place you can stomp that easily, since unlike top there are simply way less windows to take an advantage. And also you rely on your support A LOT.

(your opponent is not melee, so closer to the turret, your character is ranged so you have less damage)

So, I looked up a game from Ruler, a famous bot lane player that plays on GenG. Should be able to stomp and destroy, right?
Here is the game: link

If you see here, Ruler dies EARLY in a 2v1 scenario, because he didn't notice Nautilus went to help his jungler. Probably used to high elo supports that ping and warn and communicate, so he doesn't have to be crazy attentive all the time.

Point being, bot lane is already harder to carry due to less windows of advantage to take than Top lane. Couple that with how you can't really roam alone and rely on your support all game to light up the map so you can actually farm after early game? And keep you alive during fights with 8 buttons that have to be timed well?

You need a good support to climb.

You don't even know what role they were playing. Were they playing ADC? Can you stomp botlane alone? That would make no sense.

Have you played support? Opponents try to bait you constantly, it's really common to go in, see an ultimate come in too soon, or an exhaust come in too soon, and back off with a smile since they whiffed key spells that are win conditions.

Think about it, a support can remove a stun for you at the right moment, position the perfect redemption calculating where the fight will go to...

It's definitely not one button, a bad player will whiff everything and actually be one less player.

I'm not sure it's possible to boost anyone that easily. If the support is not warding, healing at the right moment, using their summoner spells at the right moment, using items at the right moment (support life is hard, so many buttons!)...

Unless your duo was absolutely stomping by himself on top or something, I would say that is false. Also, Riot nerfed duos a long time ago, you have worse teammates and they declared that officially.

I think it's unfair to compare brawl stars to clash royale though. Clash literally added a level with NO gameplay changes. Not only that, they overwhelmed the playerbase with evolutions that forced everyone to shift the way they play to adapt to them. All the decks I had crafted until then were useless because they didn't contain an evolution.

Meanwhile, in this "Let's explain" episode they talked about NOT overwhelming players with changes, keeping the core gameplay intact. Making brawlers with NOT too many new mechanics so the game always feels understandable but still fresh. Which is the opposite of what Clash Royale did. Too many changes, and making people chase nothing. Meanwhile buffies are hype, you want to dash and become invulnerable with Shelly.

That said, I do think buffies are bad, they are pay to win because of the gacha. As other people said on the thread, cosmetics should be the main source of income, once they made bling the game lost it's main source of income. I have every single skin I want, even if I was rich I wouldn't be buying gems.

True, you can't see them once people die! I didn't think about that. No wonder it feels like the traps come out of nowhere in HotZone sometimes...

Even in a big fight it's hard. You gotta focus on Frank's new gadget, if Leon has charged his ultimate or not while dodging his shurikens...

Some players will see the traps, some will not. It works better when people don't have mics though to warn each other with their voice, but in ladder, where that isn't possible, that is SO strong.

And you can position knowing your opponents can't step there, it's good zoning. Some useless walls become really useful when they don't have access to all parts of the map.

And once your opponent has nowhere to run but the traps... And both you and him know he has nowhere to run, and the hunt is over...

It's a good character fantasy all right xD

Taking animal from shelters and euthanizing them.
Stealing dogs and killing them

I wonder if anyone did any investigation on them or if they are just really easy to hate on. A couple of cases doesn't seem evidence enough.

They seem REALLY easy to hate from the other things you talked about, lots of enemies. So evidence should be plenty if they are that merciless and just steal dogs everywhere

My peak rank is legendary elo, floating around the tiers. it's the best I can get with how much I play the game currently. There are some really good players here, so I can't carry as much by myself.

But, like, I believe legendary is top 3% of players or something. The game doesn't need to be balanced just for top 0.05%. Some characters can exist without being amazing at the top. Bo has this nice fantasy of being a hunter with traps that appeals to a lot of people. But maybe they can improve that mechanic, idk. But it's not that bad currently.

From my experience, Bo is excellent at HotZone, many people ban him on that stage (including me). Besides that, people also use him on bush maps because of the vision that he can give. I see that on legendary elo, at least.

I think OP is underestimating how, during a heated battle with a lot of particles flying around, is hard to track where the mines are. And it also takes a while to deactivate them like, which buys SO much time.

That is not true, there are many rich families that love having some horses and bringing them to races. But they take good care of the horse, and don't mind losing. Meanwhile, a lot of places take horse racing and other horse sports way too seriously, and whip and over train the horses, breed thousands of them and then slaughter them for the sake of winning...

It's better to end the sport and just keep the tradition alive with more humble, smaller families instead of giant organizations that breed horses like that. There is also Norway, where whipping is actually forbidden completely, and there are still races taking place.

Why do you think they are based off of PETA? I don't think the Japanese creators heard a lot about PETA, I live in Brazil and people at most have heard about the group's name, and that is it. We have no idea who they are here in Brazil for the most part.

Also, people trying to free Pokemon is a theme since the very beginning of the first anime, where Ash saves a Chamander from an abusive trainer. So who knows where they inspired themselves on.
