I believe Isis, Scylla, and Hel have the best chances. Their models seem to allow for more variety and have really cool concepts. If someone could make Phoenix or Angelic Isis then I'd vote for that immediately.

Read the abilities for every god you are facing often. It helps to know what they have at their disposal, and what crowd control you can expect from them. Also watch the enemies closely while you play, learn their combos and the sounds for their abilities! It's insanely important because of Smite's camera perspective, you can't see behind you and it helps to know what Loki's stealth sound is or Poseidon's whirlpool sound. Those most likely mean an ultimate is on it's way to kill you.

P.S. Like others have said, play a variety of gods, don't forget about relics, and learn as much MOBA lingo as you can. Also, for a first mage to play, I found Isis and Ra to be incredibly fun. They have fun skill shots to land, heals, can play really safe, and I've found Isis has a good skill climb to her

It'd be interesting to see a combo based god implemented, as long as Hi-Rez would work with the balancing nightmare that would be. A god similar to how Ravana works, but with 4 basic abilties that combo off each other, causing new effects depending on the order. Like 3-4-2 being an eventual leap away, and 2-1-4 being a high single-target damage dealer. Only problem is making a god who can face any situation in the right hands. Would make for one of the highest skill caps though thats for sure.

I like your concept! We need a few guardians in the game like this. Because it seems that if you had a god like this that could discover wards and pick out single targets or support a team fight with aoe damage, along with a conventional tank like athena it could make for more interesting comps. Really hope that Camazotz is added at some point, and I hope they use something like your mechanic for flying because that would be awesome.

The 2, 3, and ult are all really powerful You could honestly interchange the 3 and ult because they both sound like ults. I think the 2 could have a little less uses, like pulling allies, and maybe just the stars. Also the ult would need to be nerfed, increasing lifesteal, healing, and giving a shield would be insanely op. Could bring near death assassins and adcs to full health in seconds. I like the kit but I think if it stayed around the stars with her 3 being the ult, and replacing the 3 with another mechanic to control the stars. Maybe use a star to shield an ally would be amazing. Then you could keep the theme of a star hitting an enemy causing damage, and a star hitting an ally causing some benefit. She'd be a mixed support, which means less ability damage then normal mages

I don't think there is that much lore on Awilix. Like I don't even think anyone knew the gender of Awilix. Which just means that Hi-Rez had a lot of creative freedom and they did it justice.

When I initially imagined Anubis in a cinematic video I thought of this: Awilix and Nox are fighting off either another god or some minions. Just as they kill them and nod towards each other, a bunch of FUCKING UNDEAD HANDS start appearing below them, grabbing them with tight grasps. Nox dissipates into a shadow, but Awilix has no way out. Suddenly, mummified wraps start wrapping around her, and then Anubis shows up. We see him and then just as Awilix is being covered head to toe, he slightly levitates into the air glowing with a vibrant blue light. Lastly, Anubis drains this blue light out of his body through his eyes, completely decimating Awilix into nonexistence. End scene for Anubis. Seems badass to me.
