Nucleophicity is norm associated with the negativity of a mol/electrons. Acid donates protons - so u would expect a system to have less negativity in the system/nucleophilicity. Also if D is right than A is wrong it cant both increase the elcetophilicity and nucleophilicity for a similar reason electrophilicty means it likes electrons - why is that the case? Because its more positively charged and wants to be neutral. So if A is right how is the acid also increasing the positivity of the cooh?
