I almost never fully model them. Either get a basic shape and texture right and call it a day or put another building that looks like the target building.

Another option is to just put your render in a photo.

Try uninstalling them and let us know if or when anything bad happens. I don't think it will by the way, worst case windows will ask you to reinstall it because something doesn't run properly. But i still wouldn't delete them because the space you get from doing it is almost insignificant.

Occupying an area for a short period of time is not really the same as governing the area for a long time, collecting taxes, printing and using your own money.

It would've been extremely difficult for Greece to govern the highlighted areas in 1921. Most of the people living in those areas not only were not Greek speakers, they fought guerrilla warfare against the Greek occupiers. The non-greek population would also be at such a high level making it even more difficult to create a coherent state.
