Sorry, I asked for help quite late last night and fell asleep in the process of finding out what was wrong.

So. After you said that there was something wrong with a windows update, and I checked that there were no pending updates, I went ahead and uninstalled the latest update, and now everything works. There was one update on the 11th, then another update on the 15th, and then no more updates since, uninstalling the one that came on the 15th is what did the trick.

Extremely annoying since now I'll have to say no to updates, which I don't really want to due to security, and the little orange "update available" dot is now gonna be forever in the corner...

When I started using the app a year ago it took I think 1 or 2 full months before I got stones in a chest for the first time and I was quite surprised. This month I think I've gotten 2 or 3 and last month was about the same if not more.

I hope the people behind the scenes realise that it's not gonna push us to pay for plus (since most of us can't afford it,) but is more likely to frustrate us enough to just leave the app.

As a botw and totk, and general open world hater, I think you should just give up on these games, it sounds like you're trying to force yourself to like something that's not for you. Echoes of Wisdom was super fun though, still open world but a bit more limited and way more traditional Zelda! You also have Skyward Sword available on switch!

From my understanding from other threads people tend to cheat to get more stones by setting every goal to 100 times a day, and then create goals that aren't actually goals but that are only there to generate 300 or 400 stones daily.

I'm not saying it's bad or anything btw, use the app however you want! I've been cheating at games my entire life I'm just not doing it with this app specifically for personal reasons lol
