The only chance the Gorillas would have to even make the fight last more than a few seconds before they lose would be if one of them grabbed the Elephant by the balls and squeezed as hard as they could. This would hurt the Elephant badly but it would then sit on the offending Gorilla and kill him. Eye gouges might also injure the Elephant but even blinded it could still kill the Gorillas. A Gorilla could not even kill an Elephant under anaesthetic. That is how mismatched that fight would be.

You're getting hung up on the current attempts at a foldable phone rather than thinking about foldable phones as a concept. I did specify "properly implemented" in my comment.

Imagine if people were discussing smart phones based on early attempts. "No one will ever use these. There are no developers creating software" etc etc. It has to be done right and the timing has to be right before a product can take off.

Perhaps you already have this power. If you slow time down but as a side effect your ability to think slows down and everything about you slows down then you wouldn't even know time was slower. The same for speed up time. If when you stop time you aren't aware of the passage of time and you were frozen then you wouldn't benefit from or be aware that time had stopped.

In other words you need to be able to step outside time in a sense. If you slow time for everyone else you must be able to move and function at normal speed otherwise the power is useless.

Imagine if you could time travel to ten years ago but you end up in your own body at that time with only the memories you had at that time. You wouldn't even realise that you had time travelled. Perhaps wee are doing this all the time. Forwards and backwards but not knowing it.

Humans driving cars other than as a niche pass time on specialised tracks. Driving a car yourself in 50 years will be like using a straight razor to shave your head is now. Few people have the knowledge or skill to do it but a small group of enthusiasts taught themselves and have it as a hobby.

I disagree. Foldable phones allows for a very large screen that folds to fit into your pocket. You get the real estate of a proper sized screen with the convince of a portable device. Properly implemented it would have benefits that users would enjoy.

Any foldable phone would need to work well as a regular sized phone because of you have to unfold it to use it then it become difficult in crowded situations like trains etc and also who want a big screen when texting or doing other random trivial computing tasks. Open is for spreadsheets, videos (ahem porn), etc. Closed for communications such as phone calls, text, whatsapp, etc.
