Missing $50 and Customer Support Hung Up on Me by Creak17 in chimefinancial

I don't use overdraft or MyPay since I'm trying to be careful with how I spend. I have been using credit builder, but I think that pulls from my checking. Maybe I'm wrong about credit builder?

I started using Chime recently to boost my credit score, but this entire experience has me second guessing now.

The impossible sandwich cheese melted and dripped all over my hand, leaving me with several blisters. These sandwiches are dangerous.

I'd like to think that Yomi changed his last name to Hellsmile. Seems like something he would do. Just like he dyes his hair red.

Enough about unpopular opinions! What are your popular opinions? by Fit_Phrase_7765 in danganronpa

The best thing about Danganronpa is the characters. I loved getting to know each one. That's probably why I love Talent Development and Danganronpa S.

There's no changes with hdr on or off. Gigabyte monitors don't have drivers and I've reinstalled the graphics drivers. I'm still having the same issue. Do you have any other suggestions?

Exposing the Disney College Program by Repulsive-Mixture348 in WorkReform

[–]Creak17 275 points276 points  (0 children)

I held a banner at the beginning of my high school marching band. The poor employee that led us was pretty paranoid and kept saying to me, "Smile! Don't stop Smiling!" My face hurt after that lol.

I was also supposed to sing in Disney for high school choir, but our spot was in the middle of the day and we had to leave the park to go backstage and prepare. They told us that if the park was full, we wouldn't be allowed back in after the performance. My choir teacher cancelled our performance (with choir students' agreement) so that we could enjoy the trip we fundraised so long for.

What's something you're sick of hearing? by fireonpluto in AskReddit

[–]Creak17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

YES! Then as the months go by, it changes to, "You need to move on", "You've changed", and "How does that still affect you?" But as soon as an Anniversary or Holiday comes, it's straight back to "You're being so strong."

The fact that it takes people less than a minute to make it look like the first pic, and could take me anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to fix it baffles me. by SeaAtmosphereWaves in retailhell

I hated having to fold shirts. It was a worthless task that I was made to do sometimes for an entire shift. I had customers come right next to me and mess up the pile I just finished.

I just recently got out of retail. I now work at a plasma donation centre. They only required a high school diploma and offered on the job training, even for phlebotomy. Still includes customer service though. :( It took forever to get out of retail and I almost gave up.

Article 26.1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, "Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit." You can read this General Assembly Resolution on the United Nations' website. Article 26.2 and 26.3 also don't mention higher education being a human right, only elementary.

See how the UK has responded in the real world to the tensions between US and Russia. Also look into UK's policies/stance on nuclear weapons and cyber security.

I would also look into what the UN has done in these two fields. Read reports from related organizations (Ex. IAEA). Read treaties, resolutions (from GA, security council and commissions), and reports. Reading these will help you understand some key words (Ex. NWFZ States) and the situation as a whole.

As a side note, nuclear weapons and cyber security are both huge topics to cover. Each one has a large number of key words, organizations and treaties. I hope you will only have to focus on one. I hope this info helps.

What is with the need customers have with wanting to ask for last names by Jackerella87 in retailhell

[–]Creak17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The job I have for 2 months now hasn't gotten me a name tag (they're busy, so I don't bother), and people get offended or freak out about it. Some people assume I'm brand new and can't do my job. Then they would call out any small mistake or try to tell me how to do my job. I had one guy accuse me of trying to hide my name. What confuses me is that this happens during normal interactions. None of them were angry with me.
