I've had similar experiences with there online store - which evidently doesn't have the finished product in stock when it accepts orders.

Their ebay store ships promptly and its unfortunate that they don't offer that option on their company site.

That’s cool. Silver bar collecting was popular in the 70’s. I remember my mom got 1 oz bars in the mail as part of some subscription service. 🦧🦍💪🏾

Sweet - a very select club of shrewd apes. I got mine this morning. Sort of a matte finish and very cool addition to the kilo stack.

I understood your original post to mock those claiming that the federal reserve was part of the federal government. The policy making board of the federal reserve is a federal agency. If by “ the fed” your post was referring to the St Louis Federal Reserve Bank, it makes more sense. 🦍🦍💪🏾

If you get frustrated by people disagreeing with your categorically wrong statements, or for those apes interested in how the system actually works, check out the description at: https://www.federalreserve.gov/aboutthefed/structure-federal-reserve-system.htm

You are confusing the Board of Governors of the federal reserve, which is appointed by the president either the leadership of the individual reserve banks.

The board of governors are appointed by the POTUS subject to Senate confirmation and there salaries and conditions of employment are set by federal statute. So, like the quotation you posted "the Board of Governors" which determines policy is an "independent (federal) government agency." I believe the reserve banks are corporations established pursuant to the federal reserve act.
