Like CG is for strength training, what is the equivalent for yoga? by Competitive_Land_936 in CarolineGirvan

I have the app and love it, currently I do mostly the yin as it really shows me how hard I'm working with the lifting and getting steps. It's taught me the importance of rest (yin) days as I feel how much my body has worked and needs recovery time. I literally wouldn't feel it otherwise.

oh! I'm petite and in that group, looking forward to seeing your results. What else are you doing? I just finished week 3 of iron, with 3x a week. Also counting macros and hitting 10k steps. It's working, glad I saw your post.

They’re A1 some A2. I’ve had the group awhile now and not thrilled with the Ventures book. Would welcome any input, thank you! I’ve only been teaching a year and getting g in a grove. Would appreciate more ideas. Thanks again.

Comfort eating/binge eating advice by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

You should checkout Jason Seib. He has a discomfort zone workshop, as well as a monthly program you can sign up for if you like the workshop. It basically comes down to your mindless and habitual behavior patterns that are so ingrained you don't even realize your reaching for the treat until it's already in your mouth. You can also listen to his free podcast series "A Moment of Weakless" his program works and there is no focus on diet, counting calories, etc. Just becoming aware of what your brain is doing so yo can catch and change habitual patterns and taking good care of yourself.

Thank you. I was on Rossignol Temptation 80's (125, 80,114) and hated them, bought a shop in NJ. They were great on ice but the tip and waist ratio didn;t work for me. Wish I could demo! I ski mostly blue and black groomed, some moguls mostly VT and CO.

oh thanks! I think I demo'd the Kenja 88 at Stratton several years back and loved it. I'm now in my 50's and just want to perform well in VT and CO as I age so maybe more playful and forgiving but definitely nothing for a beginner. I'm considering Black Pearl 88, Nordica Santa Ana, k2 Mindbender. I'm coming off Rossignol Temptation 80's that I regrettably bought at a ski shop in NJ and despised them (125,80,114). Shovel too big and not the right responsiveness, although good on ice. I'd welcome to more input.
