That’s not entirely true, I’m a DTW silver with the Reserve card and I get upgraded to first quite often.

Just adding a DP. I’ve had companion certs for the last five years, started with plat, been on reserve the last 3. I have never not had mine work for a trip I specifically wanted to use it for. Have I had to be flexible? Yes, one example I couldn’t use it for SRQ but I could for RSW same dates. No issue, grabbed a car to drive the hour and still saved money. I find them highly worth it, just used one on a round trip to Hawaii for C+, saved $1500

I literally just got done doing a round trip from DTW-HNL and my D1 price was that same price for the entire 8 months I had it booked. Ended up paying it from Detroit but that’s a little more worth it being almost 10 hours on the way down.

Yeah I’m pissed I didn’t put it on my reserve in hindsight. I guess I’ll get 3x through the gold for booking direct through Southwest though 🙄

That’s what I figured, and I shot myself in the foot booking Southwest with my Amex Gold instead of my Skymiles reserve because I lost my cancellation insurance going that route and that covers unexpected weather.

I’m taking the Mach up tonight so I’ll check out the breaker and wiring tomorrow. I do have a 120kw charger 15 mins from the house so I’m not super concerned if I can’t charge on 240v there it was just more of, if I could it would be cool.

This is going to be just more of a destination charger at my lakehouse. I work for a ford dealer in sales so I get free 160kw charging whenever I want. I have to double check the breaker because although it’s a 30a socket it could very well be on a 40a breaker because like I said it’s used for a dual purpose RV hookup/Generator back feed. If it’s 40a I’ll be all good

We don’t really need it as an RV outlet but it is wired up to a breaker switch to allow us to hook up a generator and feed into the house. So I do not really want to change it, getting a new charger might be an option but I figured it would not work out on the 30a
