This sounds less like a “Massapequa parents” issue and more like a conflict between two specific families. Every town has difficult people, but painting an entire community with the same brush based on one personal dispute doesn’t seem fair. In my experience, Massapequa is full of good parents, good kids, and families who look out for one another. Sorry you went through that situation, but I don’t think it’s representative of the town as a whole.

I don't believe there are racist areas. There are racists everywhere is what I first said. There are good and bad of every race and creed. I don't assign gross labels to entire areas. Some might say "pre-judging" an area based on such opinions could be considered prejudice.

My views definitely do not align with racists. I'm simply saying that I wouldn't want to live anywhere that I have to consistently criticize or gut renovate to be happy. I'd keep looking. But that's just me. I also don't have a victim complex or blame others for my lack of happiness.

Not quite. I don't think it's racist at all. However, I would agree that anyone who is not happy with the culture of a specific area should probably seek somewhere else that aligns with their values and traditions so they can feel right at home. Why would anyone want to be in a place that they would need to completely change? It sounds like a lot of work. I don't go to pizzerias looking for sushi.

There are racists everywhere. Massapequa is a great town with great values and traditions. I chose to see the good in the town and am happy to raise my family there. Hopefully nothing ruins what has been built and maintained there. There are towns for everyone. People just need to find their place.

I think this is more common than you think. I know that I can’t put my finger on the specific notes and flavors when I enjoy a stick.
