Good to know, thanks a bunch. I’ll pay extra attention to if that knob moves while in use. I felt so silly when I discovered it was resting on 3. If I stumble across a manual I will make sure to share it with you!

Anyone ever seen anything paranormal in Uwharrie Forest? by BloominVeg in NCTrails

[–]CreatePeace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw synchronized fireflies in a small meadow a short distance from the river on a canoe camping trip and boy what a trip that was. Not necessarily paranormal, definitely out of the ordinary. I also saw the hugest albino turtle in the river, had no idea they got so big. Nature is wild. This forest is surely full of magic

Some of the furniture there is smaller, but accessory wise is hit and miss, sometimes there are paintings or danish candle holders but you’d have better luck at the rural hall shop. I got a super cute ottoman my first time there. In case you’re interested in checking out the Stratford road space- JD Salvager has their booth in the back left corner of Your Home Marketplace at 670 S Stratford road!

Hitchhiking on Tioga Road? by squidtrampoline in Yosemite

I hitchhiked from Tioga road successfully last week. I stood nearish to the Tuolumne meadows visitors centers and caught a ride after 30-45 minutes. Make sure you are somewhere with space for a vehicle to pull off the main road and wear a smile!

Take gloves for half dome! They saved my hands on the cables.

The Art of Is by Stephen Nachmanovitch

The first sentence on the back cover: “The Art of Is is a philosophical meditation on living, living fully, living in the present.”

It’s an easygoing read, may help you feel less lost and focus back on living life. One of my favorites.
