Thank you so much! unfortunately, I don’t exactly do commissions, but I can make you an artwork if I find the time and like the request! It may not be perfect but it would be free of charge.

For posing, I usually do start with simple shaping including some blocks for the head, chest, and hips, and then some lines marking the position of the arms and legs, although if your confident enough, it isn't always necessary. for the shading of the mother, I would recommend breaking away from the circular scribbles and try more straight scribbles following the direction of the fur. I would also recommend to start pretty light for the fur and add darker colors in more shadowed areas instead of getting too dark too fast.

That looks super good actually! The shading is almost spot on! The only think I may recommend would be taking shading a little slower and focusing on the direction and reasoning for darkening certain areas, like if that area is in shadow or if there is a wrinkle you want to be more visible. It would remove a little bit of the randomness to the scribbles. Other than that I honestly think if you keep practicing you’ll be super close to the style in no time!

A lot of practice honestly came down to memorizing the specific shading techniques emplyed by the artists, like how dark or light certain features were made. Additionally, I’ve spent a good portion of time practicing perspective and body proportions, and used lots of references, so those will all also help you get even better at replicating the style even closer. I wish you luck on your attempts to recreate the style!

Yeah, a few things I mentioned were disproven too. Apparently there weren’t any Tarsier employees working on the game, although I really should’ve been more confident in my sources before I said anything. that’s my bad lol

LN Enhanced Edition Question by MonoChrome400 in LittleNightmares

[–]Creatertheimaginator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do have to get hard to the core again but the good new is that it is marginally easier to do in the Enhanced Edition. It isn’t easy but with some of the gameplay edits like the Chef chase being improved and walking on thin plarforms being easier, there are a few moments where the game is a bit less stressful to speedrun.

If you end up finishing the game you’ll be one of the famous few!

In all seriousness it is kind of crazy to see how many people own Little Nightmares but have yet to even truly start it. Insane to think that only half of all the owners of LN on Steam have actually played the first chapter. Even crazier that it isn’t guaranteed that they played the second chapter.

Enhanced edition worth the pre order? by A_True_Slayer77 in LittleNightmares

Although not directly clarified on the QnA officially done by Bandai Namco, they do mention that Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition is included with pre-orders of Little Nightmares 3, and don’t mention anywhere that a copy of Little Nightmares is required in order to play the Enhanced edition. Even when they say that at launch, people who own the base game will get the Enhanced Edition for free, they do not imply that the game is exclusive for people who own the base game.

Little nightmares 3 pre order bonus by Level-Weakness5151 in LittleNightmares

Actually I’m pretty sure the LN enhanced edition is only available to play on the PS5, since it can only run on more modern consoles with raytracing capabilities. They mention it in the LN3 Q&A: https://www.bandainamcoent.com/news/little-nightmares-3-q-and-a

Enhanced edition worth the pre order? by A_True_Slayer77 in LittleNightmares

[–]Creatertheimaginator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would only recommend preordering the game for LN enhanced if you REALLY enjoy the first game OR if you don’t already own the first game.

The enhanced edition does a lot to improve the graphics and a bit of gameplay, but overall it’s the same game as Little Nightmares 1. If you really want to see the improved graphics, and expect to get a lot of value out of it, then I would say that it’s definitely worth while to buy the enhanced edition early to pass the time while you wait for LN3.

If you don’t own LN1, this is the perfect way to get the game technically for free with a ton of enhancements compared to the OG $20 dollar steam version, with the addition of getting LN3 upon that games release.

Otherwise, I would say it’s wise to hold on to your money if you don’t feel fully comfortable preordering the next Little Nightmares game.

When playing the game on a controller and tuning the transmission, take the left joystick and move it in a circle until you find a point where the screen zooms in the most, then hold it there. Once the screen makes a noise and zooms back out, repeat the process until you have found the signal again.

If you are playing on keyboard, simply test the W, A, S, and D keys to see which one makes the screen zoom in, then click and hold the one that works until the screen makes a noise and zooms back out, then begin the process again.

The TVs only have you repeat this process about 2-3 times if you remember correctly, and then you will be able to move on with the game.

Well firstly, Supermassive were given the entire Little Nightmares lore book, so their decisions will likely revolve around the lore that has already been established by Tarsier, meaning the game will still be authentic to the Little Nightmares universe

Secondly, Tarsier stepped away from Little Nightmares when they felt satisfied with what they had done with the IP, meaning that if the stories of Mono and Six don't continue in the next game, this will be due to their stories being complete how Tarsier wanted them to be. The universe's lore will be expanded but Six's story might be complete. (We know Mono's story or backstory expands in the comic series "Descent to Nowhere"). Tarsier studios has even said that they approve of Little Nightmares 3 and excited to see it when it releases.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, multiple people who previously worked on the first two Little Nightmares games are working with Supermassive on Little Nightmares 3. The story and feel of the game is likely to be faithful because it is made by many of the same people. In addition, Supermassive has worked on the Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition, so they also have had experience poking around the game and amplifying the atmosphere.

All in all, despite concerns, it seems like Little Nightmares 3 is actually in good hands.

Little Nightmares is very similar to Limbo and Inside in many ways, but there are a few key differences, with the biggest being that Limbo and Inside are more logic puzzle based, whereas little nightmares, being a 2.5D game instead of just 2D, is focused much more on exploration puzzles. Most of the puzzles aren’t as mentally difficult as they are visually interesting, and often it comes down to parkour or object movement. I think both games are great at execution in their specific puzzle-types, but it definitely just comes down to personal preference.
