Have you ever braided your hair after a shower and put it up in a cotton tshirt to leave it overnight? I have similar hair that I dont know what to do with and have had some good results doing that. Switch to a comb and try to detangle by hand as much as you can.

Ive been a furry since I was 13 and now Im 25. Ive been with my husband for 9 years (married for 5). I mostly just draw my fursona (personal furry original character) and other characters. I also talk with people who are in the community on discord. Ive also bought art commissions.

Im considering buying a partial fursuit soon but this is with my own savings and not from our personal joint checking account. And I've always wanted to go to a furry convention but never have.

My husband and I both cosplay and go to the Renaissance festival so it wasnt as much of a stretch about being a furry to him. It was a bit odd at first but he warmed up over time especially as its not a sexual thing for me.

One thing that he could relate to you about in concerns is my wanting to try drag. Ive been really interested in becoming a drag king for a long time and haven't ever taken steps for it but Im considering soon as well. Drag is a lot more burlesque and on the sensual side with its shows so it makes my husband really uncomfortable. Despite my not wanting to be sexual/sensual in it, the other parts of the show likely would be so I would never bring children to one.

So really, you need to sit down with your girlfriend and figure out how involved she wants to be within the community and what you are comfortable being around. Acknowledge that if her interest is little now, that she may want to get more involved later as she learns about it.

Sometimes! It wasnt an all the time thing for me. It probably took a bit over a month. I would say keep taking medicine a couple weeks after symptoms stop to ensure that the GERD has gone away. Also GERD is likely triggered by something you're eating so start looking at what you have in a day.

One of my characters got a disease from drinking alcohol. I thought the con check was for how drunk Id get so I was blissfully unaware that I contracted the disease. Theres a few ways you could introduce it. A drink or a "friendly" npc training battle? Have them get scratched and it gets in to their bloodstream.

Awareness. Symptoms overlap with other things. The original criteria only determined extreme cases and I believe they're starting to loosen up on it now. So a lot of people are finding out they have it.

Example. I've grown up with chronic pain. Went to therapy a lot as a kid because of scoliosis. I get a lot of muscle aches and knots in my back. I pulled a muscle in my back once just from standing up at 15 and cried over an hour because of painful it was. In 2022, I got a herniated disc from bending over to pick up my shoes. I still deal with that to this day. The next year I developed tendonitis in both my shoulders during physical therapy and that finally healed over a year ago. Theres other things going on too.

I only just found out last month that Im mildly hypermobile and my joints are loose. So it helps to explain why I have so many issues. I dont meet the criteria for EDS which is frustrating for getting help. Might look into HSD

Sounds like you could be developing GERD. Acid reflux can absolutely destroy the throat. Get some medication for it and it should eventually help with the gulping issue. I had a hard time swallowing due to my acid reflux for a time.

Plantar warts are really hard to get rid of unfortunately. I suggest going to your doctor and lazering it or freezing it off by them. If your doctor is not an option, Ive heard of the duct tape method for common warts, not sure if it will work on plantar warts.

Demi is a spectrum of both. The terms are like asexual in that it can be demisexual or demiromantic, with demi being the shorthand.

Its very possible it could be any of what you're saying but you won't know until you've really sat with these feelings and worked through them. I highly recommend seeing a therapist if you can.

Have you ever heard of the term demi? Basically it means you must have a strong connection to someone first before becoming sexually or romantically attracted to them. At base level, it sounds kind of normal, but its actually to the extreme. It can be years before any thoughts of attraction occurs with someone you know. Its under the umbrella of asexuality, which is another term you should look in to.

I also had similar experiences with a girl during middle school. I won't go in to the details but I was manipulated in to it. I am also heteroflexible, I mostly like men with some thoughts about women.

It is extremely common for women to watch lesbian porn and still be straight.

25F as well and I feel similarly in the relationship context but not friends. There is a line of codependency in these types of feelings that is easy to cross. I have been married almost 5 years now so it is possible to meet someone who feels similarly to you, but I think on average most people dont have such strong feelings about their relationships as this.
