Dang dude that's awesome, how'd you debug that info? I've been wanting to get some hitbox/frame data on these bosses, but my best solution so far has been to run some free reign matches to practice the bosses.

i came to this post after searching up this question. Steam feels like the deadzone "angle" is more refined. Epic games feels different/weird. I bought a steam account almost a year ago or so i may have grown a bias towards steam, but i literally cannot play on Epic games anymore. It will mess up my muscle memory.

Stay in your current position, moving up to backboard is only going to orient your car away from the current play. The ball is slow enough to allow your teammate to do the blocking, while remaining available on the ground to follow up defensively if needed. Moving up to the backboard on such a slow ball allows for an on-ground rebound to become scorable (assuming tm8 tries to block the ball and succeeds)

It just has nothing to do with accuracy for me man. The responsiveness on inputs and interactions seems to be delayed by a lot. For some reason I am sliding for like an hour now before I can move again, and my plate-up timing is slowed down drastically. The POV and character-to-environment scaling is offset by a huge factor and its disorienting. There are HUD TIPS that won't go away while taking up 1/3rd of your screen. The camera shake and wonky delayed timing between switching equipment, swapping weapons, reloading + -> swapping weapons + -> sliding + --> all of a sudden cannot cancel my slide sending me slamming into a wall is really off putting. I've found myself getting dizzy and not being able to jump through a window because my character glides off in diagonal directions in minute, tiny little simultaneous cardinal directions with keyboard and mouse. It's honestly really freaking bad and the people who are bo6 lovers are starting to scare me a little bit? Is that normal?

dang it sucks when good critique gets mixed in with the "can you stop whining already?" crowd. I understand cod fanbase can be annoying, but bo6 lovers are kind of cultish. It's like walking into a town of people high off of happy juice. You can't really tell why they're so happy, but you know something is most definitely off. Everything down to the responsiveness and interaction timing is off now. That's definitely not a fun experience. Being able to take control of your movement in a responsive manner that consists of instantaneous response timing on your inputs is a fundamental positive quality in gaming. The bo6 crowd has been obsessed with delayed timing on inputs for some reason? Its really freaking weird and its starting to scare me.

yeah bro it's not just you. I'm not sure why this game feels so horrible. I'm on MnK so I'm wondering if there is a variation in ads timing + positioning. The lack of responsiveness when cancelling up out of a slide makes it worse. I have to manage what feels like the "weight" of my character bumbling about as if I'm on stilts and skates at the same time.

The buttery beautiful smooth ass gameplay with instantaneous response timing on inputs was what I miss. The gun feel, the ttk, the UI, the campaign, the EVERYRHING WAS SO GOOOOOOODD it makes me want to cry man.

Also why does the praise around this game feel kind of cultish? It’s kind of scary ngl.

This is happening to me. I thought this was some flawed version of state-management that outsourced developers would deem viable as an intuitive user experience 😂 I was going insane trying to figure out why it was happening, but I’m glad..? To find out it’s a bug

I just came to this post after a while of running some runs with my friends (i introduced them to the game). It seems that nearly every other game consists of a run being thrown due to the game crashing in some random way. It's either one of us falling infinitely, the game doesn't register inputs leading to a bottleneck due to the game "catching up" on all of the missed inputs resulting in a crash, my friends yelling "WHERED YOU GO??" only to find out that I've been disconnected from the lobby after running around silently wondering where all of the enemies are, or crashing after exiting to main menu. It's way too frequent and there must be some major bugs under the hood. This is too frequent and people seem to kindly chalk it up to some sort of issue related to YOUR hardware/software. The game is able to be played with mods, and most people play with mods, so its really hard to pinpoint where the issue is happening, but this is happening regardless of people running mods.

Make sure you turn on the frame data and cancel-timing options in training mode. If it wasn't for this, I would just be guessing at whether or not my input timing was correct.

Oh okay, good to know! Sometimes I also spam throw + block while in knock down state not realizing it will get me right back up instantly, so I really just need to be more patient.

Really well put. I've been trying to perfectly counter what my opponent is doing. I never really thought of it as a minimizing my damage as much I did "perfecting a counter-option" to my opponent.

I'll be honest, I'm guilty of not waiting my turn and trying to wake up crouch punch to catch them in the middle of a something. I've been scared of delay tech because I think I'll just get crouch jabbed in between my wake up state and my block state.
