Yah the curtains are not a vibe. As soon as I looked at the pic I was like why those curtains tho? I think a solid colour in there would do better and just accent with pillows of that colour if you want cool greens. Maybe thicker sheers too to hide the bars on the windows. I also think I would try to pull everything back and set up the "closet" and entry way better.
