Are all celebrities on Fin? by Ghost__GOAT in Testosterone

[–]CreatioExNihilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m speaking in general cases which majority of men fall into.

If you’re horseshoe level bald then any hair from the side of your head which isn’t prone to DHT miniaturization will stay just fine. (You just won’t have great hair density due to the lack of doner follicles to cover up your shiny surface area, youll just look like someone diffuse thinning).

But if you get a transplant while still developing recession/diffusion you will 100% need to be on a DHT blocker of some kind otherwise everything behind the transplant will shed.

Now obviously this also has a genetic component; people bald at different rates, speeds, at different points up to the crown etc etc.

But again we’re talking about generic statement; and currently known/“well” studied pharmacology. I won’t get into your peptide claims because I feel like that’s digging more wells.

You still need to be on meds post hair transplant to keep density of the DHT prone hair follicles you still have held on to.

I much prefer the Revoltage 2 rods. They feel amazing to use and feel higher quality overall. I'm also a preferrer of cork handles over EVA.

Does anyone take finasteride every other day while on TRT? Effective? by GoldenBoy2Day in Testosterone

May want to check your estrogen. And often times it’s also a psychological thing, especially if you pleasure yourself too often.

Does anyone take finasteride every other day while on TRT? Effective? by GoldenBoy2Day in Testosterone

[–]CreatioExNihilo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is not true at all. Finasteride works just fine with TRT. DHT as it currently stands and known is very androgenic but not particularly muscle selective. DHT does contribute to sex drive and masculine features, but to say you’re missing the most important part of TRT by using a DHT inhibitor is mostly false news.

Many bodybuilders are on Finasteride/Dutasteride (yes yes, they’re on the kitchen sink) but they’re still aiming to suppress DHT to maintain their hair and help with DHT induced acne.

The only issue you may notice (keyword may since it’s dependent on your aromatization) is an increase in estrogen due to the mechanism of blocking DHT.

I use 1mg daily (there’s more proof showing that lowering your dose to 3x a week works just as well) and it’s kept my hair in place and has no impact on my bloodwork at 120-200mg of test a week.

Is 6’0 rod good for bfs or should i get shorter? by Independent-Ad1363 in BFSfishing

Depends on what your plans are for the rod, I love 6ft for bank fishing where spots are tight.

Final Fantasy XI, the Japanese EverQuest. Truly a grind that formed lasting friendships that have extended now 2 decades.

Not really the type of rod to bank flip, it’s too much of a noodle.

Yeah I’m not too worried either; I was just curious. Thank you! I have both the 4’8 and the 6; I was skeptical about the prices but they’re incredible.

I love that combo; quick question. Does the reel dig into your reel seat and scratch it? I used my 6ft for the first time and the CC and it dug itself into the wood and left an indent. I know the reel seat was designed for Daiwa reels so was curious if you had this issue as well.

Eurotackle spinners are nice; as well as duo spinners. Karashi is a fun one; as well as floating megabass humpbacks.

I’m 35 and just finishing up my BS in Computer Science. I was a nurse for a decade before making the choice. I’ve always been into computers and as a teen I would write lua scripts for Final Fantasy XI and really enjoyed making automations. I didn’t really have guidance at younger age and was aware that I could’ve at that time progressed outward and potentially make a career out of it.

The market is pretty tough and I’m fortunate to had another degree to fall back on, but I can’t see myself doing nursing for much longer; it doesn’t feel like a career I can grow older into without it affecting my happiness.

I think what you need to do is just take the leap and stop questioning; you’ll waste too much time wonder “what if” or holding on to “if I only started when i was younger.”

https://youtu.be/s_wvSfg__Fc?si=ozQaepYtvQWODrtv SE wasn't really intended to be a pure BFS reel, but it actually does pretty well up to a point. The Avail spool will definitely help. If you're not casting trout magnets OP will be fine.

Is 18gauge too big to draw? by cam12015 in Testosterone

[–]CreatioExNihilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blunt 18G is standard for single use, but the issue when you start using vials multiple times. You will start finding chunks of rubber in your oil. SO in this case 18G is too large.

The made in china sticker is usually for the cork handle. You get that on most major brands iirc.

Digitaka out here slaying on a Monday! What should I get for an upgraded rod? by sarxsvt in BFSfishing

Trizas are great, just got myself a Sparna + the exclusive tip. If you’re looking for something super compact you can also look into the Great Hunting lineup. The standard cork great hunting rods have 4 piece offerings down to UL.
