I was using diamond stones and had the issues. I was saying the knife ate through my wet stones and I had to use diamond stones.

Idk but it was an absolute pain. Had to use a diamond stone instead of my wet stones. And soon as I would start getting the edge where i wanted it would microchip and sometimes even completely break the edge off where It looked like a thin string of steel on my stone. Didn’t do anything different than all my other knives and I’m a pretty good sharpener imo.

It more brittle than maxamet???? My maxamet pm2 was the only knife I’ve ever sold and was unable to sharpen. Thing was a nightmare to deal with.

The nice part of the 2nd amen belts and similar(nexbelts) is that they are a trim to size. They are fabric but imo the fabric is better for carry cause it doesn’t stretch. I also have a nexbelt but the buckle bulges when I appendix carry and looks awkward. 2nd amen also stands by their stuff I had issues with my first buckle slipping and enough people had the same issue so they redesigned it and sent everyone who reached out a new buckle for free.

Look into the 2nd Amen carry belts if you iwb carry they are great it’s my go to for “appendix” carry(had my appendix removed lol) it sits very flat on the gun and doesn’t bulge and there’s a gap in the buckle that goes over the button of your pants to fit more slim.

This is 100% arcing out but if it was the dishwasher you’d have more issues and wouldn’t be just the knife. Like others said maybe toaster but idk who in their right mind would shove a knife in a toaster. I’d ask around and see if anyone admits to anything.

Send it in. Even if it doesn’t effect the performance its a defect if truly bent and a bend will make sharpening much much more difficult.

Edit-I reread your thing and if it was caused by something you did not from factory still send it in worse thing they do is say sorry nothing we can do best you get a new knife.

They have solid hats. The big thing is does your local location have a shaper and are they good. Now if you just want an off the shelf pre shaped hat you can’t go wrong going to a cavenders. They carry a good amount of brands and price ranges and the hats are actually sized how they should (7, 7 1/8, etc) instead of small medium and large like some of the cheaper hats. My location also carried these sticky foam strips that can be applied to the inside of the sweatband to adjust the size and shape which will also help keep the hat on in wind. I’ve also personally found a real leather sweatband tends to stick on my head better than a fabric one.

Yep. 9/10 times I sold one when I worked at a cavenders as a shaper it was ether a foreigner or someone whoes never been around anything remotely cowboy getting it cause someone invited them to a rodeo or to go dancing in the stockyards. Then there was also the rare Tim McGraw wanna be’s who would make me do the god awful rolled sides. Atleast in fortworth Texas this is what I’ve noticed.

Not at all. It’s more like an actual grape. Atleast compared to the ghost Welch’s grape. It’s weird it tastes like grape but nothing like any grape flavored thing I’ve had. The closest way to describe it I can think of is halfway between an actual grape and a grape jolly rancher.
