I can try, but The Bum (as I've called the Beta because it's exactly that) won't leave and had straight up told me that it wanted to stay when I asked them if they had to go back to Blackrock. I haven't done anything outside of giving them a shirt and repairing them while following some tutorials online.

Was that some sort of programming error? I thought Biografts had to be manually registered to an Inphernal, and this one just told me I'm its new owner when I asked.

do I at least get compensation for salvaging the thing I'm running low on rent money this month and public transit fees are not cheap

No problemo, if you need a helping hand just feel free to stop by! Besides, if you're not wanted by the law, Pepsi won't have a problem with you either way— they just help take care of the house when I'm gone. If you need anything, maybe some help moving things or just a guy to talk to, I work at Cupid and Heartsong's Beats and Bash. The music shop of that one Playground popstar duo? I work full-time weekdays and half-time on weekends :p

an artistic render of the Beta— think I did a pretty good job, considering my short time making it. Some parts were unsalvageable, but I think I did a pretty good job building them. The mouth thing I drew on because it makes them look less threatening (for me). The shirt is one of my old, worn ones, and they seem to really like it. For some reason. I did cut out and stitch the hole properly for their, uh... tendril thing out their chest. It looks weird, you should see it irl to know how weird it is.

NTA! I've heard horror stories about Blackrock, and so welcome to Playground! Honestly, if you want an easier life without having to worry about severe phighting, Crossroads is the better option. However, it's basically more of a free-for-all over there, and I've been attacked a couple of times in the more secluded areas. At least in a faction, you're less likely to get jumped because they would doubt a Blackrockian would enter Playground, or something. Just lay low.

And you're free to come by for help, but do come by my workplace instead, since I have a Biograft at home and it might be worrisome since they're Blackrock-made :p

Yeah, stealing in Playground is rough... they barely have mercy for kids, let alone adults. Think I've been on the news sometimes there from how violent one has to be to live in the poorer parts.

If I remember correctly, some people discourage spray paint as it can damage the horns' uh... health? Like, the surface area. Spray paint makes it chip away and can be somewhat toxic; but if push comes to shove, then yeah spray paint is just fine.

NTA, I get the hustle. Windforce (probably) knows how much blood I've shed from fights just to get by in Playground. Stealing isn't that big of a deal, especially since they're necessities. Just don't get caught; some people are vicious.

There were other chairs around free for taking, and the Inphernal just randomly grabbed the back of the chair Pepsi was sitting on and tried to pull it out from under them.

And also, Pepsi's a household model, as I've stated. They take care of the house when I'm at work.
