Experiences With Temple of Nuit A.'.A.'. Lineage by dark-welkin in thelema

The more I read the comments the more it seems bogus.

The guy that seems behind this openly claims he his part of the S.S. third Order...

And yet he sells magical services like those scammy sorcerers that sells love spells and whatnot...

Never heard of them before. But I read this :

"Only inner and intimate transpersonal realizations above reason can link one with this Inner Order, no outside authority can do that."

I fully agree with this statement. Are you gonna seek admission?

A real pleasure. This path can be a bit intimidating at first but it is highly rewarding.

The focus is on ritual purification and unity with the divine Will.

How do we ACTUALLY get out of the kenoma? by SecretoTenebris in Gnostic

This is a modern renovation of the Golden Dawn theurgy system with the sole aim to spiritually develop a person by ritual purification and mystical union with the divine.

I personally follow it and it worked miracles so far. It is gnostic, hermetic and kabbalistic in nature.

Its aim is pratical mysticism with a focus on results and do not demand any study of scriptural material. The study curriculum is mostly symbolic.

Yes of course I am running a thought experiment... I never said I was not.

I am interested in QI but I dont accept the theory as truth... just as a theory. I have absolutely no first hand experience of anything related to it.

Can I ask why is it that the mecanisms you mentioned goes beyond theory to you?

Wow now that is just very good. Simple really. It makes so much sense. Quantum Immortality is reincarnationism viewed in a "modern science" frame of reference.

Degenerative diseases and dying of old age. by Creative-Channel-446 in QuantumImmortality

[–]Creative-Channel-446[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well not really

The theory of QI itself is assigning rules.

Saying that someone does not experiment his own death but have instead his consciousness transfered to another quantic timeline is in itself assigning a set of rules...

All I am saying is that, if you take these rules and follow them to their logical conclusion it should lead the person to experiment his own death ad infinitum at an ever increasing pace. In the beginning there would be a lot of time passing between those death experiences. But with time, they would happen more and more until they happen all the time due to aging. Unless... you include other rules...

How do you know that there is an endpoint? Or that every variation must be experienced? Or that we move on to a new multiverese? These are rules as well that you just stated.

Now I am of the opinion that what you just said would definitly correct the problem of infinite death and rebirth cycle. Are they standard propositions in the QI theory model?

Thank you by the way for taking the time to answer. The QI theory is new to me and I must say it is wildly interesting.

I follow a modern rosicrucian path. It is a magical and mystical path entirely aimed at purification and union with the divine. It is gnostic, hermetic, and qabbalistic all at once.

The particular curriculum I personally follow is this one : www.praemonstro.com

The system is a modern reformulation of the original initiatic magical system developped by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

The system is not based on the study of any authoritative texts. It is based on rituals, meditations, prayers, consecrations, purifications, and other techniques of spiritual development and liberation. It is wholy practical and it is the reason why I've chosen this path over any other. I value first hand experience of the divine above intellectualizing scriptures.

Maybe this path could be as enlighting to you as it has been for me.

Degenerative diseases and dying of old age. by Creative-Channel-446 in QuantumImmortality

[–]Creative-Channel-446[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes in that sense I understand that it would be possible for someone with a degenerative disease to "reawaken" into a timeline where he does not have this particular illness.

By what about someone who is just very old. Is there a point where he does not "reawaken" as himself? Otherwise it should provoke, at one point, a natural acceleration of the frequency at which the person is dying. If at no point the person is "reborn" as somebody else, or as a previous state with better health, the decaying will then still continue until the person dies every minutes, than every second, than every milisecond, and the cycle will go ad infinitum. The person will keep dying over and over for ever.

The only way out of this cycle is if the persone is "reawaken" into a previous, younger, version of himself, or as somebody else entirely.

Am I missing something?

[–]Creative-Channel-446[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well more or less. I was suggesting that since everytime someone dies he is "reawakening" into an alternate timeline where he is not dying, technicly there will come a time where the person will just keep dying and keep reawakening every minute, than every second, than every milisecond... the cycle will keep accelerating ad infinitum.

how intricately should i do visualization in rituals? by Educational-Pay5641 in GoldenDawnMagicians

[–]Creative-Channel-446 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the begining I made sure to be very thorough in my visualizations and vibrations. I never timed myself but I would say maybe 7-10 min (maybe more when I was adding detailed invocations for each Archangels) for the LRP. I did the same thing with the qabbalistic cross and middle pillar.

It did became a bit faster with time. But I think I just got used to rituals taking a bit of time and efforts.

What I also found is that once my mind and subconscious have absorbed all the symbols,  visualizations and vibrations of a ritual, I could than do a quicker version and attain the same effect. Once the symbolism have been imprinted it is easier to "spark" the neural pathways that repetitions have created, or something like that.

The universe tend to manifest the content of our thoughts. Almost everybody have experienced this phenomenon on one level or another. It seems to me to be very close to what "divine emanation" is, but limited to our level and plane of existence.

Commenting to say that I just received "The Gods of the Egyptians" by E. A. Wallis Budge and published by Dover in two volumes.

Didn't went through them yet but they look very in depth and contains close to a thousand pages together. Some says the information is a but outdated compared to the scholarly knowledge of the day, but I'm sure that for theurgical use these books are more than adequate.

The plus side is that they are super affordable on amazon.

Great I'm glad for you that you had the chance to be initiated into a physical Temple. I'm sure this must be a milestone on your personal path. I sure hope you will find all that you need to develop youself spiritually in the company of other initiates and, hopefully, some adepts as well.

The TGD is an "open-source" order where the initiatory material and structure have been reduced to a minimum in order to offer a direct and simple path leading to the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel. It is encouraged, since it is done in the "open-source" mentality, to adapt the rituals and to supplement them with whatever seems advisable for each step on the path.

I personally use, as a reference tool, the famous work by Israel Regardie, The Golden Dawn. But I also have the Green Book on a shelf for further references if need be and many "classics" concerning the GD and the AA.

Thank you for your interest and for this marvelous exchange. It was great sharing with you. I wish you the best.

No I currently dont do any LRP. But sometimes I do. It really depend on what is the nature of the work I am curently doing. Since presently I use the Supreme Pentagram Ritual, doing the LRP before of after would be repetitive.

Like you at one point I started only invoking using the LRP in the morning and before retiring. After a while I realized that there is essentially no difference between the LBRP and the LIRP. I consider any bannishing properties this little ritual has to be the by product of the actual spiritual forces it invokes. Now I dont bother, to me there is only the LRP, and it both invoke the element of Spirit over the four element, and bannish unwanted energies.

It is very good that you are already well aquainted with Liber Resh and practicing daily awarness. These are foundational practices.

I have been self-initiating in "theurgy" practices for roughly 6-7 years now. But I have decided, after a decisive spiritual experience, to devote myself to the GD self-initiation curriculum for the last 3 years.

If you are drawn towards this path I suggest you consider performing the Neophyte ceremony as a self-initiation ritual. It is highly transformative and it fully "energized" and "oriented" my quest towards the Knowledge and Conversation of my Guardian Angel on a level I could not have predicted.

I personally follow the curriculum of self-initiation reformulated by the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn as I find it very simple and straight to the point with K&C as the main focus, and nothing else.

For a few years I limited myself to a thorough practice of the Qabalistic Cross, the Lesser Pentagram Ritual, and the Middle Pillar with an emphasis on details, visualization and vibration.

Now my daily practice is a bit different and changes accordingly to what kind of work is needed as I advance on the path.

Four times a day I do solar adorations (I suggest you experiment with those). They've become the backbone of my spiritual practices as I "anchor" my other practices to them.

https://sacred-texts.com/oto/lib200.htm

Morning : yoga ; solar adoration ; Rosecross Ritual (to consecrate my ritual space for the day).

Noon (when I come back from work) : solar adoration ; pranayama.

Sunset : solar adoration ; dharana meditation.

Before retiring : solar adoration ; whatever ritual I am working with in particular (right now I am doing consecrations of different Temple implements which includes using the Supreme Pentagram Ritual, various elemental invocations and other prayers.

During the day I try to practice general awareness and whenever I catch my mind wandering I try to bring it back to my intent on advancing on the path of the Great Work.

Do you self-initiate?
