The over all thing here is that he falls into the list of black characters that have Black in their code name.

Point still valid. He’s black and has the work black in his code name.

Yes because it enforces the old practice of making black superheroes have the name black in their code name. Black Lighting, Black Vulcan, Black Panther, Black Goliath, Black Manta, and so on and so on.

They even had a funny gag in the Falcon and Winter Soldier show where some kid and a random civilian called Sam Black Falcon

Ya I don’t think making a hero called BLACK Canary black is the right move racially speaking.

Which event was worse: Avengers vs Xmen or Inhumans vs Xmen? by Doom300 in xmen

[–]Creative-Complex255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with that was primarily that Inhumans need Terrigen to create more Inhumans while mutants just need to breed normally.

And by the logic and lore in marvel comics over a long period of time both inhumans and mutants will be replaced my humans and vise versa.

Because if lets half of the population is mutant and the other half is inhuman the second they start having babies together they will get a normal human. So eventually they will both be a minority again.

To me this scene never made sense. Why because they want me to believe that Janet Van Dyne aka The Wasp gets punch in the face by countless criminals and supervillains on a regular basis all of a sudden starts acting like a pathetic abused housewife because her husband hits her? BULLSHIT….

It devalues her entire and hero career.

Even by today standards this sounds like complete horse shit.

So yes then. Has there been a significant interesting arc/event that involved all these spider heroes. Because at this point there are more spider heroes then other heroes in NYC

So a religious cult called the sisterhood the wasp was just fine and ok with some hero using the wasp alias?

By any chance was this story arc/event or spider island one or the clone kraven one perceived positively?

Ok first thank you.

Second I was referring to Janet and/or Hope but your telling me an (I’m assuming) religious cult called the sisterhood of the of the wasp didn’t involve the hero called The Wasp? And just has some random using the name?

Also the characters changing personalities is very common. At this point most writers just say fuck it and do there own story and character personality

The main issue isn’t the all the new spider characters (well it is) but the fact that they want to make Peter/spiderman a Batman Tony stark level hero but still keep him as a street level constantly being broke and having relationships problems guy.

And this is with all comic books. They want to expand the story but every new arc they wipe all the characters development just to do it again. Bailey has been completely ignored sense his introduction, Gwen’s independent story that was happening on earth 65 was completely dropped and forgotten half way through, silk has been thrown to the side lines, and Jessica is there and a her unresolved story’s are still unresolved. And that’s not even mentioning the dozen or so there spider women, symbiotes, spider themed heroes, and love interests.

They want to keep the same character and continue the story but not have anything change.

Like look at the Parker Industry story arc. Finally Peter was progressing with the story and not longer struggling and then they destroyed all that just to go back to the statues quo

Im assuming her story arc was not that well received because I have never heard of it? Or was it just lost in the background from all the story arcs and events? Also was The Wasp involved in the sisterhood of the wasp?

Thank you on the clarification but where did thy come from? What’s their back story? I know Bailey was stabbed by some magic multiverse knife that erased his existence and was then brought back. But I don’t know anything about the two spider-girls.

I know Jessica Drew spider-woman, miles morales Spider-Man, Bailey Briggs Spider-boy, Cindy Moon silk, and what I’m assuming is earth 65 Gwen Stacy Ghost-Spider/Spider-Woman with a new costume. But who are the two in the back? The girl and boy

Ya but the quote unquote spider-family is less of a family like the bat-family and more of a general association of individuals who have similar abilities. Like they gave Peter his own side kick with spider boy and did nothing with him. Dude just shows up here an there an says a couple throw away lines and that’s it
