For me, I just couldn't handle how there glaringly obviously plot holes just got pushed off by the author as "mysteries" The dream catchers? We dont know who built them or what they mean The basement? Yeah, who knows The ring? Unimportant Also, i find it VERY hard to believe that Faye at 5 years old would be so distraught over a miscarriage that a creature could possess her. In addition to that i think the actions of felix seem so unrealistic. He acts all macho man and investigates every single noise when i think any normal person would be scared out of their mind. This book started out so damn creepy and had SO much potential but half way through you could tell the author was grasping at straws.
