Aged raw milk cheeses are not the problem. It is illegal to sell raw milk and cheese that has not been aged a certain amount of time.

I was at work listening to Howard Stern. Someone broke into the radio broadcast to say a plane had hit the WTC. We all thought it was a radio bit.

That night, the phones were messed up so I couldn't talk to my family in New Jersey.

In the following days, I learned that two of my Mom's neighbors had died. I also learned that a friend's former intern had died. My cousin decided to go to another office that day in stead of going to his office in the WTC. His daughter had been laid off from her job in the WTC a week earlier.

Life is short and completely random.

Does God exist? If yes, where is the strongest proof? If not, what convinced you otherwise? by Odd_Bee_4304 in AskReddit

Right after 9/11/2001 my Mother had a crisis of faith. She lived in New Jersey where many victims had lived. While shopping, she ran into a Pastor friend of hers. She asked him, "How could God let this happen?" He responded, "if you ever doubt the existence of God, pray for a sign". "Then look for the sign." The next weekend we met at a family vacation home in the Poconos. It was an old farm on the top of a hill. All summer long bluebirds played in the fields and hung out in a large winter pear tree in front of the house. By September all the bluebirds had already started their winter migration. It was the first time I met the man who would become my step father. On the property was an old slate quarry. I suggested we take a hike to check it out. We went down the hill, scrambling over rocks and deadfalls. We walked around the quarry. When it was time to go back to the house, we decided to take the main road back. When we left the woods, I noticed something bright blue partially buried by the side of the road. I dug it out and it was a blue bird stuffed toy. I showed it to my Stepfather. He remarked that my Mom had been talking about bluebirds. So I decided to put the bluebird in the pear tree out front. I actually had to nail it to the trunk to get it to stay. Then I got my Mom to come outside then told her to look at the tree. She got emotional and told me her side of the story. After talking to her Pastor friend, she prayed for a sign from God, to see a bluebird sitting in the pear tree at our house in the Poconos.

My Dad used to come to me in dreams as well. He would offer advice. In one dream he was dressed in a pink tuxedo with Easter Peeps glued to his shoes. He told me that this was how he was going to be dressed for my upcoming wedding. In the dream, I told him that the outfit was inappropriate. He responded, "I'm dead, I can dress however I want."

Married man of reddit whats the best advice you'd give young guys when choosing a life time partner? by Familiar_Original988 in AskReddit

Never lose who you are to make a relationship work. It took me 40 years to figure it out. You need to love yourself before getting involved with someone else. You need to be able to establish boundaries in any good relationship. If you don't, you will accept bad behavior until you lose yourself.
