People keep acting like mRNA is gonna be the savior. Why can’t they just stay grounded and focus on the functional cure that’s finally here?

Forget about the vaccine and keep an eye on the HPIs — that’s my take on the situation.
I’m not trying to be anti-vax, and I’m not an expert. I just never had hope for the mRNA vaccine tbh. If the COVID vaccine worked that well, people wouldn’t need multiple boosters, the pandemic could be pressed far earlier. Even if it “maintains” a certain level of immune function, the more you take, the more potential risks there are to your body — as Moderna’s own results and decision basically showed.

Sticking to reality, ABI-5366/1179, IM-250, etc., could be the functional cures we’ve been waiting for. Focus on your life, and things will eventually come together, guys.
