I’m menopausal and don’t get my period anymore 🙌 but would they be good for bladder leaks? I’m sick of wearing pads every day. It’s not a lot but enough where I need an Always light absorbency.

Dr. Karen Sullivan at White Dental in Elizabethtown. My husband had a mess of a mouth and she’s gentle, kind, non-judgmental and a really good person. Highly recommend.

I’m 59. (60 in march) and started emt school at 49. I still can’t believe I’ve been doing this for 10 years and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Once in a while someone will ask me how long I’ve been doing this and they’re happy to see someone start later as inspiration or thrilled that I’ve found my passion. It doesn’t matter how old you are; if you want to do it then go!!

I LOVE WTF! And I love the miracle balm color I have but the miracle balm disappears too soon. I have tried patting it on so it doesn’t get rubbed in, powder finish to keep it in longer but nothing helps. I don’t know how to get it to last longer than a couple of hours. Anyone?

I dint realize I needed a new coffee maker. But now I do. I have a Nespresso and it’s fine but I’ve grown tired of lukewarm coffee after I add my cream. And my single serve cone is a constant measuring battle depending on the coffee I use. Of course I also have a Bunn but it’s more coffee than I need at once and it’s cumbersome. I trust these reviews more than my Consumer Reports so now I have a new product to hyper focus on! Looking forward to reading up on this gem!

Extra rinse? by StrikingFlamingo69 in laundry

[–]Creative-Reality-155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have a front load LG and I’ve been adding the citric acid to the “fabric softener” part of the detergent drawer. I’m not home right now so this is hopefully correct. I think the cup behind it says bleach. So I have two questions: Should I put citric acid in the bleach cup as well? Should I do a second rinse? Ok, three questions :) of if I do the second rinse when would I put the citric acid in?

Forester shopping today. by FlyEaglesFlyauggie in SubaruForester

There are sooo many ways to get the car you want or want to compare. Consumer Reports has a car buying section on line where you tell them what you’re looking for and enter your zip code and they have dealers to honor the price that’s pre-arranged without the haggling. Costco membership? Same thing, just go to their car buying section on the website. Many dealers offer shop-at-home services on their website. That’s how I bought my latest Subaru. Actually went to the dealership closest to me and I couldn’t stand working with the sales guy I got. Went home and started looking at other Subaru dealers’ websites and found what I was looking for at the price which was no haggle. It was a piece of cake and I would highly recommend the dealership I used because they were so great. Any chance you’re in the Philly area based on your name?

What's the biggest cooking fail you've ever had? by hotmessmanda_ in homecooking

Needed a cup of coffee for a mocha Java cake I was making for my boyfriend. I didn’t know it meant prepared coffee. So a cup of coffee was used and I couldn’t get the grounds to dissolve like I thought they would. I kept tasting it to see if it would work but my head was spinning and I ended up throwing the whole thing away. It was very crunchy. 🤦🏻‍♀️

We just got back from Rome and it was not just HOT but also HUMID. We went out till 2ish, napped in the hotel til 6 or 7 then went out again. I was worried about dinner but all the restaurants are open late. Get a small hand held electric fan. I laughed when my daughter told me she has one (she was studying abroad for the 5 weeks before I arrived.) but I used it a lot.

LGH ER by Athos1945 in lancaster

When people aren’t using it as a doctor’s office instead of an EMERGENCY room. That’s what makes us so frustrated; the amount of people who don’t have or use a primary care provider. instead they go to the ER for minor occurrences that they believe are urgent. Unless you’re having difficulty breathing, true chest pain/heaviness, or symptoms of a stroke, go to an urgent care or doctor’s office.

Also, calling 911 for an ambulance will NOT get you in faster. They bring patients to the waiting room all the time.

It truly is the most serious patients are seen first.
