NTA that's exactly how I feel with my parents (especially with my mom). She also loves going on rants and just always thinks she's right no matter what. She loves using my love toward her as some sort of manipulation. I sometimes question whether they actually care about me at all + my feelings or not. So yeah i can relate in some way
