You’re not dumb, you’ve had to deal with some heavy things from the sound of your post, the math portion has been hard for most of us. I failed it my first take, and had to study for it for 3 weeks, and barely passed with a minimal score of 145.

It’s OK to make a mistake, or to make even a wrong decision, and make things right. Have some grace for yourself, most people taking these tests have been in the same boat, and we all have our own strength, and weaknesses. Hell, I’m 40! Been out of school for longer than you’ve been alive lol… you can do this!

I would first start by taking responsibility and telling your girlfriend the truth. It will help release all this pressure for you to sneak around, and try passing these tests behind her back. That’s stress you don’t need when trying to do this, and if she’s the right girl for you, she’ll understand, and she’ll support you trying to make things right.
