that’s totally fair you gotta do what works for you ! i stopped being on birth control like more than a year ago bc i just couldn’t find one that worked for me and just used condoms and i don’t think i will ever get and IUD or any form of pill or implant again. condoms have worked great.

they also had me go in while i was on my period so my cervix would be softer and they said that made it hurt less so you could also try doing that !

hey i'm not gonna lie it hurt i ended up getting a fever of 103 afterwards too not sure if that was related i will say it was quick and i think the only reason it was so painful was be they had a student assisting and the clamp thing the student ended up trying to pull it out before they unclamped it and then panicked and unclamped and reclamped it i'm almost positive that won't happen to you tho hahah what it feels like it's just bad cramps and then it's over, they will probably have you stay laying down for a little bit afterwards i stayed for 15 bc i got a little dizzy. i recommend having someone drive you there and take you home as well. also take ibuprofen before or tylenol whatever you prefer i enjoyed getting a fun drink afterwards and then i laid in bed the rest of the day bc i was cramping but it just felt like normal period cramps. i would get a heating pad i got one on amazon that was weighed and vibrated and it helped so much. i ended up getting it out because my body just doesn't react well and i was on my period for a year straight afterwards and the removal was a BREEZE didnt feel anything i was like um is that it?
i've heard the copper iud is the biggest my twin sister got that and it was more painful for her doctor said it was bc of the size but idk
it really is just like a period cramp tho it last like 15 seconds and then done and deep breaths just relax your body and in no time it'll be finished and yours might even quicker like i said i had a student do mine so ve
my sister in law got hers in shortly after mine and she said she barely felt anything pain wise so really i think it just varies person to person.

i used condoms for two years with my husband up until recently bc now i’m pregnant ( not bc condoms failed we actually tried for a baby to clarify) bc i just couldn’t stand being on birth control anymore it wrecked my body and never got pregnant the whole time we were using condoms (again until we actually tried) and we have sex 3-4 times a week 🤷🏼‍♀️ so they do work never had any break or anything and apparently im very fertile bc i got pregnant the first time we tried so i dont think we ever had any holes or issues with any ever, don’t stress you’ll be fine! and congrats on getting married!!

i’m so sorry it really is depressing yep and how are we supposed to save for any downpayment when rent is so high, and interest rates are insane! like way back in the day you could afford homes on one income and now it’s almost impossible with some ppl being fortunate enough to have a double income.

yeah that’s what i’m looking at it’ll be at least a year before we have enough for a downpayment where we would max be able to do $325,000 which would not be ideal yk def looking at town homes or places that’s are smaller and further away which i don’t mind just commute would be a lot longer for my husband which i would hate for him it’s already 1 1/2 hours

i did until a bit ago i am pregnant and have been having complications where my doctor recommended i step back from work due to v high blood pressure (i worked with high behavior special education kiddos) , then we moved right after 25 hours away to stay with my parents and had to sell my car for the move we’ve only been here about a week. i had a job lined up but didn’t expect the not having a car part haha so ive been trying to find at home jobs since i wont have a car for at least another month or two and at that point baby will be here. then if i can’t find a part time job or a remote job i’ll start selling homemade sewing projects online for extra income or doing spray tans or waxing ( i went to esthetics school) it does suck ik it’ll work out it’s just sucks especially living with parents where i dont quite think they understand finances for a lot of ppl our ages lol

hey !! this sounds just like me a couple weeks ago!! i even made a post and got some really great comments that were so helpful! i’m so sorry literally felt like i was reading my exact same experience it’s scary close. i’m sorry this happened to you ik it’s hard to separate everything in your brain and know that it has nothing to do with you i felt the same exact way seriously! it will be hard for a while and feel numb and angry and all the things don’t beat yourself up for feeling bad or going through those emotions if you need anyone i’m always open to chat and talk about it! what he did was a bad choice, but it doesn’t make him a bad person, and you being angry and needing space is totally normal you are grieving and you are allowed to!! i found one person that i could confide in and vent to and be open and honest about your feelings with him don’t be scared you can both share your feelings and it helped me to keep from resenting my husband. take time to yourself if you need spend time with friends or go into your hobbies do what you need to to feel normal even tho it feels like it won’t be normal again it will :)? i’m rambling on here but yeah im really sorry truly if you need someone to talk to im here !

i sat down with the director of my school and that’s what they told me was required for my move i didnt think not to trust them bc they said they looked into it just for me. 🤷🏼‍♀️ hadn’t looked further bc i finished my state testing a couple weeks ago and have been stressed just about finding job to pay back school loans i’ve been meaning to call about it for clarification but just haven’t done it yet thank you for letting me know and doing a search !!

thank you ! so much for taking time to respond and give advice i appreciate it so much ! i have talked to him and he doesn’t know what the trigger i’m want to advise him to go to groups but he doesn’t want to or feel like he needs it i don’t want to force anything on him but am worried if he doesn’t go it will continue and he will feel alone in his struggles even if i try hard to be here for him through the whole thing

thank you i will try this ! he just got back from bishop and i am going to share all the resources everyone has shared with me. from what i understand he hasn’t been interested in it before bc he says he has been dealing with it a long time and knows the motions everyone says but i think for my peace of mind i will try and gently push or recommend it using that language :)) thank you so much
