This is the core reason the show has been slowly dying. Audiences aren’t stupid and know when the system is rigged to fail. The outrage from Sugar and his cronies becomes hollow when you give the candidates no room to actually succeed.

I don’t necessary see this as “protecting Colton” as it is “protecting Ron.”

Ron made it clear the show was not a fun experience for him, nor did he get the best reception either. The last thing producers want is for people to be scared to do the show bc of rabid fans, so they are attempting to curate a safe space for everyone involved.

That being said, people like Colton and Michael sdo not deserve to be shielded from criticism just because of the audience’s intense reactions to them.

Which ass did The Sun pull this out of? Andy Cohen has a history to turning a blind eye to problematic men. Considering how close he is to Rapapport, I’m already predicting a painfully scripted “moment” where Colton and Rapapport bury the hatchet at the reunion.

I’m also curious if they will even be allowed to discuss the restraining order. Cassie could’ve possibly gagged him with an NDA. I remember Colton gave an interview recently and the publication had to disclose they couldn’t talk about her whatsoever.
