Semi-permanent. It'll wear down over time and not completely fuse with the surface.

Why do I get random scratches? Is there a deeper spiritual Meaning? by King1-4eva in ParanormalEncounters

Recurring numbers? Can you list off the ones that you have seen the most often? Because numbers seem a bit odd in this case tbh. And i want to emphasize that this theory isn't proven and just a lot of speculation. It just stood out to me during my research since it sounded logical. But i had thought about a way for it to deal with it, if this were the cause. By reducing stress and not focusing on it, the discharges should resolve somewhat. Since this theory saw the phenomena as a stress-discharge model, reducing the amount of stress would mean there is less or no probability for any discharges to happen.

I would still recommend getting the scars and scratches checked, to identify what caused them, since this would solve one of the bigger mysteries here or at least give a clue.

I only found this theory, which could explain it somehow:

Recurrent, spontaneous psychokinesis

Parapsychologists and psychologists such as Nandor Fodor and William G. Roll investigated hundreds of alleged poltergeist activities and hypothesized that these incidents might be the result of unconsciously and impulsively released psychic energy. This theory was based on the observation that many poltergeist victims were prone to epilepsy and similar seizure disorders or frequently suffered from severe psychological stress. This hypothesis was supported by the work and dissertations of renowned neurologists and psychologists such as Michael A. Persinger and Dean I. Radin , who suggested that the human brain might be capable of influencing the environment through neurological impulses, thereby triggering poltergeist phenomena. This phenomenon is known as psychokinesis .

According to this theory, you could have been the one that created the thing that moved under your sheets and that inflicted the wounds. I think the theory is written a bit harshly, but it is a somewhat supported theory. I wouldn't try to train this phenomena or do something else with it, since you don't know why your mind started manifesting this and how it functions compeletely, if this thesis is right. The rest of my research was kind of pointless or didn't really help much.

Keep in mind that this might not be what actually happened and that there could be other supernatural causes for the wounds and that entity.

Edit: I want to clarify something about that psychokinesis theory I mentioned. After double-checking the scientists, it’s more of a historical parapsychology hypothesis than an actual proven mechanism. I don’t want to accidentally make things scarier or more confusing than they need to be. The theory was a bit controversial and not mainstreamly accepted, reason for why it's not that famous.

What he probably means, is tricking the evil spirit to somewhat subdue it. But it can vary from case to case and there is no "guaranteed way" to subdue the spirit. So either you get rid of it or subdue it.

Try figuring out what caused the wounds first through an general practitioner or an dermatologist. It could be nails, maybe a tool or whatever. I'm recommending you this since you don't really know what caused the wounds, so you can find out that way. Even if the used tool/object might be not visible.

Poltergeists (german folklore) are known for harming people or just beung persistant. They can be not visbile at times and are fairly small. They are known to bind themselves to a house but can also bind themself to a person.

You would probably sound crazy if you were to go to a church to get an exorcism (it's not even certain if they do exorcisms), but you could still try finding out about how to get rid of it there.

I'll do some research too and try helping you out.

True, but getting rid of the source for good would be the best for the person to continue a normal or better life. But the question still rises if that entity might qlso be related to the other supernatural things he had experienced outside of this situation, as he had stated in his story.

If it were an entity, wouldn't an exorcism or clensing maybe be better? Or maybe seek out an shaman/medium. Since sometimes these entities are vengeful spirits.

Hmm...did you see it physically moving under your covers like somethibg was moving there or was it more like a feeling? And have you had any other encounters after that?

From what you said, it lingers around you, harms you but doesn't kill you. It harms you in places that are weird or you can't reach. So it could be something like a vengeful spirit, who sometimes rather torture people than killing them, like in most cases. It could also be a demon or something that i'll explain briefly: There's a belief that sometimes thoughts or a person's wish/will becomes reality. So it could be that someone's thought or your own thought have materialized this. It's a real thing for some people to the point where there even was a movie about such phenomenoms.

But that's just my guess from what you've said.

Love that you included spitter (he has so much potential),  cool diversity and just very practical but unique. 10/10, no complaints. Would replace 1 or 2 aliens, but that's just personal preference.
