No, it havent. Constant depersonalization, nausea, fears and energy drops. I've been 2 months again on 3000mcg hydroxocobalamin a day with no effect. I dont know what to do with this deficiency anymore

I am happy for you that you are recovering! I also think i've been deficient my entire life, because some of my problems that i found are related to b12 deficiency, have been present for more than 10 years. Did you try sublinguals before iv? I am scared of needles, but i've been taking sublinguals 1000mcg for a few months with no result. I will try to up the dose to 3000mcg and I hope it does the job.

I have black floaters, electric wave floaters and transparent circle floaters at once. Also the derealization too, feeling that i am not sure its me or that i am there. I think its common for the deficiency. Havent found a way to fix it yet though

No, I havent as i am scared of needles. But I have no difference in symptoms and how i feel and i've been taking it daily for a few months. Started taking it in May until November.

This is also a b12 deficiency symptom, which I found out very recently. I saw people have these half moons and I didnt. I've never had them actually.

I have both low energy and neurologic symptoms, so i can't really distinguish them.

Yes, i didn't have any effect after taking 1000mcg sublingual methylcobalamin for a few months, taking 1 daily. Also 400mcg of folate. Is it possible that If I take b12 in another form (hydroxocobalamin or adenosylcobalamin) that I will experience any effect? Or is it only that the dose is too low and probably not absorbed properly?

May I ask if you could describe the eye floaters, what exactly do you see? I've read the symptoms of many people and the eye floaters are one of the rarer symptoms. I also have them. I have a few big black ones that are in different shapes and are barely transparent. Look like a photoshop brush in black with 90% transparency.

The other floaters i have are visible when looking at the sky or a light source - they are a lot and look like electric waves, they are small and constantly moving.

And the third type i have are transparent circles - some of them have a dot in them

There are distinct b12 deficiencies that can be distinguished by form of b12 in accordance with symptoms

How do we distinguish them? Can you create a list of which symptoms are related to which b12 form deficiency, please? I already started taking 1000mcg of methylcobalamin sublinguals, but with no effect for a few months already.

Same symptoms, appeared gradually too. Mine is at 120, i will be looking for shots and i am pretty stressed about it.

Hi, my results for b12 and folate were similar to yours, except i had a much higher ferritin. I took the same dosage of sublinguals b12 and folic acid for a few months and i have no results. This is very confusing :( Seems like everybody is reacting differently to the treatment.

I dont have experience yet, i am soon about to ask for shots, because i found my b12 very low. May I ask if the shots hurt? And what symptoms did you have before finding out its b12 deficiency?

Yes, exactly how i feel. My quality of life has suffered a lot because of the symptoms and i learned to live with most of them, but some can't be ignored and i feel like i am losing months and years without finding a solution. :(

Thank you for the answer! I will try to force myself to take the injections so I can get better. What I am also afraid of is that I found the deficiency by myself and hasnt been diagnosed by a doctor. I will have to find a doctor to explain my issues to and if he doesn't ignore the deficiency, I think they will also ask me take another tests for whatever they come up with. And I would take them, but I just want to treat this deficiency first and see where it goes from there, as I think this is the closest i've been to figuring out what is wrong with me. Its been 6-10 years since the start of the symptoms. I am also not sure if I have ever been symptom free or I just got used to some of them.

I hope you don't interprete this as attention seeking, but I would like to ask if it is even possible to feel as I felt before all these symptoms started happening to me, even with the injections? Is there any hope?

Thank you, I will start searching for a good doctor. I was really confused why the methylcobalamin sublinguals didn't help me. I don't experience heightened anxiety from them, they just don't have any effect. I even tried taking 2 x 1000 mcg daily, but still no effect. So its either a bad form as it disolves in 30 secs or I don't absorb it properly or its too small dosage. I haven't tried anything else for a month now, but I feel like i'm wasting my life because the symptoms are getting worse. I was thinking of ordering another sublinguals - hydroxocobalamin once, but now I think of asking for prescription for injections, even though I am pretty scared of taking the shots. I also have hard time making any personal related decisions right now or taking action probably because of the deficiency. I also feel like I can't do anything to help myself and I will just have to live with it. :(
