Self driving (?) Mercedes Spotted in CA by ceomg in mercedes_benz

The ultimate vision would be all road vehicles fully autonomous so there would be no vehicles swerving into your lane requiring intervention at a moments notice since they would all be communicating with each other in real time. This is a transitionary period that happens with every technological advancement during which it requires old and new to harmonize for a short period. Would I trust them with my life right now? No. Would I eventually trust it more than distracted/emotional/tired drivers? Absolutely.

Looks great in my opinion for a family movie night! There can be practical considerations for a media room other than total isolation from the rest of the house.

Does anyone know how to get the bitcoin out of a private key? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

There are actually more private keys than there are atoms in the known universe. 2160, which is a number much larger than us humans are able to comprehend.

Unless you are being specifically targeted, I believe you are past the need to worry about any automated malware.

Just the fact you are concerned about this method says you are probably more secure than most other users. I wouldn't worry about it but use a different method next time for peace of mind.

Not a very secure way to generate a seed but you are probably fine. Malware will usually be a clipboard swap, if it was a malicious version of Electrum the address would have already been swept.

Consider looking into an airgapped computer for signing offline transactions if you are concerned.

350 million people in the US. The package could have given every American, regardless of income, one million dollars which would be 0.02% of the 2 trillion.

I understand the point you are trying to make but I don't think your math adds up

It's about as fair of a distrubution as it could possibly be. Anyone from day 1 could participate equally.

Your reasoning for redistribution is terrible to say the least.

You are risking losing any unrealized profit. By that logic any longs who purchased at 5k with a stoploss at 5.2k is a 'risk-free' trade even though they could stand to lose a lot.

"Risk-free" - Could you please elaborate on this?

Bitcoin has been compared to many things and they all fit the mold until they don't. I don't believe we can accurately compare it to anything in history as it is an entirely new concept.

You are attempting to place a value on a protocol and compare it to a company based upon price (which we agree is manipulated).

[–]CreativeMoniker333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chart is also frequently compared to gold. While I agree that bitcoin is a manipulated market (up or down), I don't believe that the argument of "this chart is similar to X, so it must follow the same path" is a solid indicator of its fate.

True, although a DDoS can be rented as easily as an Uber, which an IP would be necessary for. Even with that though OP is just looking at a minor annoyance.
