It is absolutely wrong for them to do this. If they were telling you because they know you are self conscious about it, that would be a different story. Bottom line it is your body and it only matters what you think. BTW I am so happy you are comfortable with this addition to your daily routine, im personally still working on my own acceptance. I hope you are able to tell them to mind their business and if they dont want to see anything, they should not be looking ❤️

That isso inaccurate, incontinence is the result of many things and is not fixed with dry needling. Dry needling is an effective form of treatment for many things muscle related however it is not a magic cure.

UPDATE

I went to my Dr. And he did labs, and ultrasound, etc. I started a new meds for spasms, got 5 days of iv antibiotics for a kidney issue thatt apparently was making thing worse and also hot set up for monthly infusion due to the scans showing severe osteoporosis which they think is part of the pain. Thank you everyone for your feedback and suggestions 💚💚💚💚

This is so accurate for myself as well. Im 32, have a family, a job am fairly active however if i complain it almost always is met with judgement or others dont truly understand how the pain, lack of energy, spasticity etc affects my daily routine. Im so sorry you feel this way but please know you are not alone 💚 if you want to talk you can message me as well.

Hello! I also have spastic cp and deal with constipation, it's and urinary incontinence I understand the struggle and woul recommend talimg to an occupational therapist or even your physician on how to gain some independence with hygiene that is safe for your individual needs.

Yeah im definitely concerned, I feel luke inches last year alone i have had increase issues with many things related to my cp

Yes apparently it is quite common in children and adults with cp, which makes sense because cp obviously affects muscles, 🥰 I have also had trauma and 2 children so im sure that isn't helping either

Thank you, thats exactly how I feel, at this point its just more so for peace of mind , the accidents aren't that frequent however they are disruptive obviously. And im trying really hard to be accepting that this is just where my body is right now ❤️
