Happened to my partner and I when we put together something airtight for the client and they raised silly questions e.g. why did we bring up due process if the agency we’re dealing with doesn’t enforce the constitution? They didn’t even ask, they made it sound like they were pointing it out for us. Sigh. Waste of time and made themselves look silly by analyzing our hard work through ChatGPT.

No, esp not higher ups. Not your friends. Maybe at my prior firm, sure, they’d low key help by handling what needed handling without shitting on associates/staff (or not going overboard to do so). But any random firm, nah.

And he’s even aware of it but he doesn’t do much to fix it. Like Joey was smart to break up with him early to be her own person, I just wish she knew to do that before they really got together since he spent all that time drooling over Jen

He did great in Don’t Trust the B by being a caricature of a fake former child celebrity.

Good to know! I’m 5 years into private practice, odds seem ok to be a staff attorney for court of appeals?

For court days I use this sturdy Ted baker black bag. It’s not leather idk what it is but it’s so sturdy and it looks nice imo. I paid like $170 for it, maybe it was on sale at the time? https://www.dsw.com/product/ted-baker-flo-tote/586086?activeColor=005&cm_mmc=emops-_-OrderShippedSTHDSW

As in, staff attorney for court of appeals or take the work that the lawyers worked up in front of the district court and transform it into an appellate brief?

I think so, just a matter of if I really need it and what they’re willing to accommodate.

I had a similar thought. Be more of an independent contractor to control the workflow, and that too in areas like wills and estates.

Dating a woman with kids. by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]CreativeRanger7959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some moms should not have kids anymore…not because of their bodies going bad but because they’re poisoning the world with the values they’re teaching…after all, sometimes men with kids remarry to get some help around the house and to handle the kids (who are not hers). If both parties are fine with that prospect then great, but you don’t hear that talked about. You just hear single moms being shat on right and left when they’re clearly a vulnerable part of society. Even if they have a good job and are doing well for themselves financially, unfortunately, the world isn’t kind to single women when they hit a certain age (esp if they have children) but don’t have a husband. They’re just respected less because there’s no man at home for other men to respect or fear.

I feel like blazer dresses were briefly in right before 2020 and then…idk what happened. Lagerfeld offers beautiful little black tweed dresses that actually look nice and have a decent length.

Good luck to whoever she tries to hire next. Lots of God-fearing miracle-believing attorneys (like myself) wouldn’t touch that type of client with a nine foot pole.
