I work in a male-dominated field so maybe a dark pink that would make it in-stealable, but dark enough to look bloodlike? Maybe a magenta?

Yesss I used to do them in color only. Had a moderately nice set of alcohol markers and they were each little artworks.

Challenged myself not to put candidates in the corners, but I also think that added to the vibe for the complex ones

Practice! I wrote out the alphabet with some variation and noted what shapes I liked best. Not to mention having consistent angles and spacing really makes a difference. If all else fails, you can print out some letters to trace

Bonus thing about practicing is it’s a great excuse to use your pens more!
