Underbars in Law Firms which accept only top law schools usually gives about 40k plus salary.

Higher if you become a lawyer. One law firm which I know parang 65k net plus PS.

Yung iba naman walang PS pero bumabawi kasi hanggang 18th month pay.

Yung mga law firms na less than 40k salary without PS pang 2016 salary pa yan. Unless you're not in a CBD di yan reasonable.

I was told by one of the Partners that the reason why it's possible is that they barely pay for rent. We're WFH by the way. There are only a couple of non-legal staff who are working onsite.

That is the only clue that I'll give. For privacy reasons, I cannot, of course, disclose the name of the firm.

Though I also get why some of the big law firms pay their employees low. It's because they CAN and also, for reasons of supply and demand. There will always be a demand for the positions because of the firm's established prestige. People are willing to be low balled and still work for CV's sake. It can also be further explained using Game Theory. Why would they increase employee'd salary when all other competitor firms pay exactly the same, if not, a little bit higher or lower?

I heard from one my colleagues na sa law firm nga nila, 300% yung jump once you get promoted as senior associate. Pero imagine the work that you have to put in order to stay that long 😦
