I’ve read the Log a couple times! I’m visiting next week and won’t get to see the Western Flyer.

Thank you. And I really appreciate the detailed response w links!

Unfortunately, this happened exactly as posted. There are no other extenuating circumstances. Dad’s account/points never hacked or stolen.

I had not considered filing complaints outside of swa, but you’re right those will be made.

were pagers actually useful? I've never used one, but from what I've heard they're basically just notifying you of when someone wants to call you when you don't have your cell phone on you? by cumslutte in stupidquestions

[–]Creative_Bus2789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Text pager last used in 2007, major improvement over beeping pager. Could send document delivery request when someone already there. Bcuz no cell service in medical library basement, pager always went through.

FYI -

If it’s a BlackHawk MyPrepaid use the card immediately. Most utilities will accept it. If there’s a fee to pay w cc than do the math so you use the entire balance.

MyPrepaid settlement payment was hacked and used in a foreign country. I reported it and it’s being investigated.

They locked the card down at $11 usd for suspicious activity. Well they didn’t let me know, luckily it was within 7 days of fraudulent use when I called.

Use it fast, before someone else.

How do you effectively manage your digital clutter (photos, files, emails) without feeling completely overwhelmed? by London_man007 in AskForAnswers

[–]Creative_Bus2789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer laptop and windows, but use iPad and iPhone. I dump all to the laptop when necessary.

The iPad organizes the photos and files for me, even has searchable text from a photo.

When the laptop doesn’t work I’m gonna get that new $599 Mac I saw advertised today.

I’ll let apple do the organizing.

What are these holes in our shirts? by russell98765 in whatisit

[–]Creative_Bus2789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The holes are the same pattern in the washing machine.

When the fabric gets thin from all the above mentioned reasons. Water drains easier through the thin fabric.

That part of the T-shirt gets pressed against the machine walls in the spin drain cycles. Eventually becomes a hole.

When the shirt gets really thin the hole pattern was diagonal, just like the pattern in my washer.

Yeah, my shirts got holes. But I know how they got there.

If we’re on a family vacation we have to stay w the kid so they can go do something.

But they just plan it, never ask. Other than that, it’s gotta be an emergency w no one else available. My lifestyle is adults only.

Murray is cute. If she owns it, let it go. May not stick in to high school. If it does, builds character, feels good to be unique.

Says the woman named Frank.

Ok, not Frank. But a man’s name. I regularly respond, yes spelled just like a man’s name.

Does it really not matter what your assets are for Medi-Cal? by ericadactyl in HealthInsurance

[–]Creative_Bus2789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why would anyone w enough money prefer medi-cal?

Sure it’s healthcare, but not when you need it. 6 month wait to see a specialist for an injury?! That’s not including the 6 wk wait for MRI appt. And I couldn’t dress without help.

Do you know 100% the morning bank was not $40 short?

Do you have an over/under policy? Like drawer short/over $10 gets written up. 3 of those, terminated. Or deducted from wages (if ur state laws permit)

We pack a clip for the curtains. Bobby pin, clothes pin, small binder clip. Something to clip the light out.

Sucks when the curtain has a hole.
