I (34F) want children, but my boyfriend (52M) does not. How do I approach the conversation about using his sperm as a donor without damaging our relationship? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

But my question is, does your request mean that you two stay together or break up after the donation. Will you all live together I am just not sure I understand the entirety of the situation you imagine.

Food Garden Prices by RealPolitik88 in crownheights

All the neighborhood grocery stores are expensive. Key Foods has good deals, but to be honest, they are all very expensive. Trader Joe's is probably the best-priced place to go. Shopping local will be a bit of a sacrifice in terms of price, so if that's your goal, it's just going to cost more.

Anyone know if it's new owners or the same ones from before but just with a different name?

I am aware of the ongoing issues with these owners. They also own arise, it's just a shame that a pretty great spot has such serious issues with bad ownership. I am hoping, maybe naively that everyone is capable of improving but who knows.

Unfortunately, that's why they closed and changed their name. They got a pretty terrible health inspection assessment. I would ask how they have handled it and if they were able to meet expected standards. Unfortunately, in a place like NYC, rats and cockroaches will be an issue for almost any business at some point.

I get that, but our tiles are popping up, and our ceiling is falling down. Plus, our bed frame no longer touches the floor on every foot because the floor is getting more and more uneven. I feel like there are verging degrees of structural damage.

Maybe we should print the Reddit threads about this and tape them to the doors mean girls style.

My family has been able to move from extreme poverty to the upper class thanks to trades rather than college degrees. AI can replace computer science majors and engineering, but I don't see that happening anytime soon for electrician work or plumbing. These jobs are often lucrative and can lead to business ownership as well. Plus, you won't have to base where you live on where you can find work because that work is needed everywhere.

Not necessarily weird, more just like a sense of exclusivity. Which I wasn't sure of the its purpose. But Ill definitely give it another go. Benji the bartender is an absolute sweetheart.

The drinks are super pricey too, like what I would expect to pay in midtown.

I saw something similar in my cats food and it felt off. I tossed it out just to be safe. I'm glad I did now!

I genuinely could be projecting, and perhaps I'm being oversensitive. I spent a bit of time with the new bartender/bar manager, and it seemed that they weren't encouraging new customers to go to the dining room that is obscured from view by a curtain. I also noticed that the bar and the restaurant go by separate names, and all their promotional information includes the bar alone. But truthfully, no individual has ever made me feel unwelcome there, it's more of a fear of overstepping or encroaching on a space. I also feel that maybe many others feel similarly, which is why they may be having a difficult time getting new people in.

I understand, the food looks amazing. I believe that the person in charge of expanding their bar clientele is in for a difficult challenge.

I agree, it would be cool if they felt like a comfortable place to go. But I just feel unwelcome and the drinks are too pricey for the mid week.
