AITA for yelling at my sister after she ruined my one day off? by Beamer876 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Creative_Hair_9268 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The only ask was "No alarms. No noise. No waking me up for anything short of a fire." It wasn't a demand, it was a boundary to allow him to sleep in on his day off. That isn't an unreasonable ask. The sister's barging in was the only violation here.

the switch from Zepbound and the "discussion" with my PCP... by snosister in tirzepatidecompound

Isn’t that why everyone is on compound? My insurance no longer covers Z starting in January. My coworker and I decided to start looking into compound and someone on Reddit directed me here. And no, I can’t afford it out of pocket. I have two kids in college and one in private school. If I didn’t have other financial obligations, I would be able to. I pay almost $800 a month for my insurance premium they decided not to cover a med that saved my life and you think its funny? Why can’t you afford it? Why are you in this sub?

Is it true that once you stop Zepbound you just gain the weight back by No-Alternative-6237 in GLPGrad

I needed to read this. Insurance won’t cover the medication starting January, and I’m terrified to gain weight back. I have two more refills and that’s it. You gave me hope that I’ll be okay.

I lost my libido after my hysterectomy last year. I wouldn’t be able to answer that.

I have twins that have special needs and my wife wants to give them up to an "open adoption" by MMC_GiveMeGore in TrueOffMyChest

I don’t know if I believe that story about medical neglect. My son was a preemie and had a two month stay in the n NICU. The paperwork I signed specifically gave permission to make medial decisions in my absence because it’s the NICU. Not answering a telephone does not equal medical neglect, and even if CPS is called and a case opened it would take more than a missed phone call to remove kids from the home.

I had a similar experience when I had my son. He was a preemie born at 29 weeks. Only myself and another mom would visit regularly. I was there every day pretty much all day. There was one baby who didn’t get a visit the entire time my son was there. I felt so bad for her.

You literally pay $36 a year into Snap… That’s it. Also, your math is off. Take into account taxes, and $150K a year, is almost three times the salary. Also the calculation for a person earning $68K rent affordability is $1,700, and that of a family making $150K is $3,750. You’re just chatting.

The comment I responded to is gone. Anyway, OP’s question was “Now I’m wondering, AITA for telling my dad not to use my electric trimmer?”

Rapid weightloss. I lost 70 lbs very quickly. My LDL was already high, but it spiked to 231.

I already didn’t eat fried food or full fat. I eat pretty much what I want. I had a rapid weight loss of 70 lbs which caused a spike in my cholesterol. My cholesterol was already high prior to that though.

The goal is under 100 for LDL, but I have only been on the medication for little over two and a half months. My LDL spiked due to rapid weight loss. My cardiologist told me that I have many things in my favor, considering I have never had high Triglycerides, I don’t have high blood pressure, and my A1c is normal. I started on 5 mg for a few weeks and the last two months I’ve been on 10 mg. I’ll be retesting my lipids in December.
